  1. Rode to Mammaw's house on Christmas eve!! Fairings are still at paint so somewhat naked today, lol. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  2. https://vimeo.com/195216760 Installed the Dean Adams exhaust on the 1190rx! Sounds mean! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  3. The non-lowered verison is the SX, basically a hooligan naked. I personally love the clean lines of the EBR's and find a lot of the new stuff coming out of Japan and Italy to be very overwrought and busy. On the Ulysses though, even the EBR fans have been screaming for an ADV EBR to succeed that design. The EBR site has even had a mystery future model AX listed which we all think will be the Uly replacement. As far as reliability goes the bikes are solid, the 2014 had some first model year issues and my RX is 2016 bike number 7 off the line so it was subject to a couple issues with some soldering station changes to the fuel pump line (that's why its in the shop now). I've ordered several parts directly from EBR (Quick Shifter, Tall Windscreen, replacement Rider Peg) and they always ship very quickly. I know there is some hesitance due to Buell/EBR history but I truly think they've got it right now. The 2018 release sub $10K bikes will really help them over the top, I hope.
  4. Support has been great for me so far. Had a bit of a fuel pump issue and I emailed EBR support for help. They called me and stepped me through the trouble shooting, discovered it was an issue covered under the warranty and it's actually at the shop now getting fixed up. I've emailed support a couple times with off the wall questions (like asking for the paint code for some color matching) and they always get back to me within a couple days. The dealer network is small right now... very small. But I've spoken to several dealers around here about carrying them and I always get the same answer, "we will look at carrying them after they've got a couple years under them up and running"... so hopefully finishing the year in the black and still having enough to go to IMS is enough to bring a few more on board. Getting factory financing through thunder road will help get dealers interested too. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  5. Absolutely, that's why I bought my RX as soon as they came back. I wasn't sure how long they'd be up and running this time. But I've been really impressed with their progress and the way the new owners are handling the company. It's not some big bike company only interested in snuffing out competition or bleeding Erik dry with hundreds of engineering projects this time. It's an owner that actually has a vested interest in the success of EBR. As soon as they came in the set up a very conservative 5 year plan of determined and deliberate growth and development. They just released this bike and have also released that they plan to have a sub 10k bike for sale by 2018. I'm trying not to buy in just to have my hopes crushed again, but with the good work they are doing... they are making it hard not to. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  6. It's 13999, which isn't bad for 185 crank HP and 110 ft lbs, TC, and general all American badassness. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  7. Of, course... a few days of rideable weather and the bike is in the shop.....
  8. Any one see the new 1190 model from EBR? Anyone familiar with the 1190sx will notice it's basically the same bike with a few street friendly tweaks: Rider pegs lowered Suspension lowered Higher handlebars Lowered gearing Blacked out... everything I think it looks bad ass (but riding an RX I might be a little biased).
  9. Nice looking bike. Love the look of the RZ. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  10. Yea, I just installed the taller windscreen from EBR, I haven't had a chance to test it yet though. I like the Alliance GT (Large) well enough that I'll keep it if it fixes the problem but after living and learning riding with some other EBR guys its not well known for its proficiency at speed.
  11. So, I looked around the posts to find something that would help me out but didn't find anything. Riding the 1190rx at high speed my Alliance GT helmet is ALL OVER THE PLACE even in full tuck. Looking for a better helmet, and I'm willing to pay for it this time. The #1 need is better stability at speed, secondary is the ability to easily add a comm system. I've been looking at the Nexx XR2 carbon pure, and that seems like it would definitly fill the #1 priority, but compared to the XT1 with the (optional) integrated comm it doesn't seem that it's designed really for adding a Bluetooth solution. Obviously there are other manufacturers out there and I don't really care what brand I end up getting. Really what I'm looking for are Supersport Rider's (full tuck to 3/4) opinions on streetable helmets that offer the best in stability but also off track practicality. 12. Here's me picking up my 1190RX at Dreyer South! Had to bring Buell (the older one) and the pup Gallifrey with us!
  13. There were quite a few Buell Friendly HD dealers out there but, the majority of HD dealers wanted to hide the bikes in the back behind the "Made In China" HD merchandise. That was the problem many Buell fans faced, I was at an HD dealership wanting to look at the 1125 and when I asked to look at it the sales guy litterally said "Aw Man wouldn't you rather ride a real bike? I've got a sportster over here that I think you'd like" needless to say I left. I called Biketown as soon as I saw them on the dealer list to ask when they would have one in stock and they are aiming to have one by December. They seem very excited to have the bike and the guy knew the specs of the bike at least. I'm not adversed to Harley Dealers carrying the bike and don't think I reflects badly on EBR at all but rather the opposite. HD shut down Buell when the dealers who sold them right were struggling to keep them in stock and the ones who weren't selling them were the ones telling people not to buy them. So i'm not supprised that the Buell friendly dealers are more than willing to bring in EBR and I will be happy to buy mine from Biketown.
  14. ITS HERE!!!!!!!!! I think its absolutely Beautiful. MSRP is 18995. HP is 185 torque 101. keeps Fuel in frame, front brake design, and all the other Erik Buell Patents. Not liking the yellow but i love it in red.
