+1 The sad thing is the idea and concept is great but the reality is they are not super hero's, they are dudes in tights with no back up and not enough training to be doing what he is doing. Props to him for trying but when he gets killed people will be like "well duh, idiot leave it to those who are trained properly" oh well provides good entertainment in the mean time i suppose

With the "can't prove you were riding it" mind set, my answer would be...it depends. honestly from the law enforcement side i dont care who was riding it, if you want to take it to court thats cool, thats your right as a citizen, I will testify to what I saw and collect my overtime for court, by that time you have racked up enough court costs to get a ticket thrown out that probably would be about $150 if you would have just paid it, then you add court costs...laywer fees...etc that will run you 450+ just to fight for principal? And aparently you havent walked most of the streets here in mansfield that will promise for "non-ghey action and excitement". Heck our cruisers get shot at on occassion! good times had by all. - growing up in the area I never realized how rough "little Detroit" was, just always heard stories, but now that I have worked here for awhile I realized how sheltered and unknowning I was about how rough the city really is for its size.

Don't get me wrong pursuing a bike is not something that I would do on a minor traffic violation, if I got the plate then I would take another course of action personally, besides that I never have time to pull bikes or speeders in cars over I am usually too busy getting dispatched to calls, or sitting on dope houses, hell we have a crack house every 100 yards. traffic is for the highway nazi's OSP I was just giving an example about either you want law enforcement to either protect citizens or not. Not when it comes to minor violations, but then again legal debates and law is so subjective we could argue for hours NinjaNick- let me know if you are serious about riding along, you are more than welcome! The only thing is they are laying 25 officers off here on may 22nd, so I will be unemployed, but anytime before then when I am on shift you are more than welcome and I can set it up as long as you have never had a felony haha

NinjaNick - So what your saying is anytime an officer feels over his head he should turn around and go back home? Hell if that was the case then any officer responding to an active shooter, murder, stabbing, shooting, etc..protecting the rest of the public does not matter and we should just turn the other way and run? The entire idea of officers putting their life on the line everyday involves us entering situations to apprehend an offender in which a normal citizen would be going the other way. But thats just educated law enforcement opinion:D:popcorn: come do a ride along in our city and you might have a different citizen opinion

We will have to have an "our economy sucks" ride here in may or june! In our city they are cutting our police force from 29 of our 96 sworn personnel. Ya thats more than 30% of our police dept. nice huh? and if any of you dont know how bad our crime is in Mansfield, take a drive through the north end and parts of our south end haha.

Ya, thats the problem, my fiancee is getting laid off as well and all of our family is here. We want to stay in Ohio ideally but....we are gonna have to go somewhere if it gets to the desperate point ya know?

In our recent economic crisis who here is either laid off or soon to be effected by layoffs - I just thought we could all vent together about the current economic situation. I'll start, at my wonderful place of employment - city of mansfield - announced to myself and 25 other of my co-workers that they would be laying us off in t-minus 30 days, this is in addition to 4 they already laid off. Chances of me getting called back to work....not very good so the city is going to ---> . Most of us getting laid off cant just go get another job for what we are specifically trained in. Just wanted to get the venting out there! Atleast I still have my kawi to keep me happy and stress free...i love my motorcycle and this site it really takes my mind off of a lot of things and sends me to my happy place! haha so i guess on the bright side, a lot of riding in my near future who wants to ride?!?!?!? anyone else feel the pain?

Nice post, those really are amazing. I have shot the mp5 suppressed and all you can really hear are the casings hitting the ground in our indoor range. great fun! keep the vids coming!
