    GLOCK Armorer

If you do any type of modification after you break it down past the field strip it will void the warranty. So if you wanted to take it down past the trigger assembly and you put it all back together properly, as long as Glock couldn't tell your warranty would still be in tact, but if they can tell or an Armorer can tell then if you have a malfunction your pretty much screwed because then Glock wont back it.

Nice. I am Ryan. It is interesting moving back here 11/07 after I lived in Dayton for 6 years, this place never really changes...not sure if that is good or not!

    GLOCK Armorer

Can't do pricing on firearms, as I do not have my firearms dealer license. I am certified through Glock to do all service, repair and modifications to any Glock without voiding the warranty (i.e. if you start grinding on your Glock, or if you disassemble the Glock further than just a field strip and your not an Armorer). Wish I had my firearm dealer license but thats like $1500 that well I dont really want to spend. I know of a good gun shop in Columbus on Cleveland Ave that has pretty much the best prices on Glock that you will see, I dont work for them so I wont be specific about there name as if I endorse them but you get the idea

  8. XD-9 is a nice choice, I got one of mine when Springfield first introduced them in 2005. I have about 3500-4000 rounds through it and it has become more accurate with more rounds, havent even had to replace any springs! which is more than I can say for Glock...I am a Glock Armorer and I have had to replace numerous springs after only 3000 round! Good luck, have fun, and be safe!

    What do you do?

Not an IT guy here unlike most everyone on this post! I work in, um...customer service...helping the fine citizens in Mansfield, Ohio (aka little detroit) everyday by, well, in more or less words....taking out the trash, and loving every minute of it
  11. BonkerS....you have any advice for those who drop their bikes at the BMV's course site while practicing for the test?
  12. Ah yes I got to ride for a few hours down there today! The roads were not too bad, you cant hammer the corners like mid summer but it is still a hell of a good time! Just great to get out on the bike and ride through the hills and turns! And I am down for meeting everyone in Mt. Vernon, I'll be comin from the north though!
  13. Does laying it down at about 5mph in a gravel driveway count? I hate gravel!
  14. You're born, you take shit. You get out in the world, you take more shit. You climb a little higher, you take less shit. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what shit even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake son. - Eddie Temple
  15. Welcome, i lived in dayton for about 6 years moved up here to mansfield in late 2007. I miss dayton actually...esp after moving to mansfield, phew besides the fun roads for the bikes around there there is NOTHING else to do!
  16. Very true. And the common misconception that the officer has to be present at the first and second court dates is a joke. the officer only is required to show up for the Trial. So heed our advice and just take the guilty and sr22 bond and 90 suspension or have attorney fees out your butt and court costs and still a suspension. Just tryin to help!
  17. You are prolly screwed, and don't ever bet on the cop not showing because that is mos def overtime for them if it is not their normal shift, and I am pretty sure they love overtime and the money that comes with court time. Atleast the suspension is only 90 days, and the sr-22 bond isn't that bad, just a few more hoops to jump through. The reinstatement fee and the 90days is way cheaper than some lawyer who prolly wont get you out of it anyways since not displaying proof of insurance has nothing to do with the speeding ticket itself. I guess not to be a smart ass but for future reference don't let your insurance run out next time. Wish there was better legal advice to be given!
  18. Sounds good just let me know anytime, I am always down for a ride...just cant wait until this stupid weather warms up again!
