  1. Doubt it's big enough for him, he's a pretty big dude...and they're still slower than an E55 '04-05 E55's can be had right around 30 now for a pretty decent car. Still a bit more than that for some of the nicer cars on the market. I don't think you could quite squeeze into an '06 for the money you're looking.
  2. Try a couple of paint stores. It's pretty abrasive though so not sure to many paint shops would use it. If I wasn't already running low I'd sell you some. I'll probably order another gallon in a few weeks if your still looking at that time. It's the best compound I've ever used once you get past the learning curve
  3. Welcome, I too talked to you last year at one point about the bug at C&C. Love both the rides. Andy
  4. I'm not a big dude...I can still rock the 40mm's without them looking out of place... Which is also good since my grail watch is still stuck in the 90's @ 40mm size. (Daytona). Some bigger or bigger wearing watches look out of place on me. I tried on a 48mm Oris the other day that was borderline too big, and as much as I love Bell & Ross the one I'd really rock (BR-01 46mm) just looks stupid on me.
  5. He's a crazy old dude, gotta be prepared to be in there for awhile every time you visit. We just picked up the Omega Speedmaster from being serviced and I too saw the watch you're talking about. The One he's got in inventory that I really want is the Titanium IWC GST chronograph (3707). Oh soo yummy.
  6. Yes I've used, it, I like it just fine. No clue where to get it locally though. Honestly there's soo many good, readily available metal polishes on the market that I've yet to find a reason to chase one of them specifically. I use either the classic Mothers in the red tub or Meguiars Billet and really haven't found a need for anything else.
  7. Friend at work asked me what her WS6 is worth. I've got no clue but know there's a pretty big f-body following here so I thought I'd throw it out there. '00 Pewter WS6, 36k miles, auto, not driven in rain or snow. Weekend car only. New tires, battery and flowmaster muffler. KBB value is depressing (12K), They're all over the map on AutoTrader ranging anywhere from 10-20K. What's real market value for something like this?
  8. Kinda depressing nobody else has stepped up to help out yet. Come on CR, show a little suport. This disease is brutal. Do what you can to step up and help out even if it's a few bucks for the man. Cancer takes perfectly healthy people and flips their whole world upside down. The below pictures of my wife were taken less than 3 months apart last year. Ended up costing me my Porsche and then some not to mention the years I took off my life due to stress and loss of sleep and I wasn't even the one going through the treatments. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture198.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/Picture1229.jpg
  9. I got you started. Now it's time for CR to follow. Sorry I couldn't contribute more...I've spent enough on Cancer in the last year. Andy
  10. WERD. Problem is the more you love them the more you appreciate the expensive ones. Dig the Navi, glad they finally brought the size up to mondern standards as it's one of my favorite watch designs of all time. Just got outsized in the modern market there for awhile.
  11. Wifey said no more events this month :-( I'll be there again with PCA in a couple of weeks.
  12. I knew it was that guy just from reading this thread. He's gave me a no front plate ticket not too long ago and went out of his way to make dangerous moves in traffic just to pull me over for it. He's given no front plate tickets to no less than 5 of my friends in the same spot between 71 and polaris. He's never pleasant about the transaction at all. Gave me some stuff about "You people in these Fancy cars think you don't need a front plate". I completely avoid that area now at all cost. Changed my daily commute and everything to avoid him.
  13. '99 A4 1.8t I need to know the size of the nuts on the A/C line from the compressor to the condenser. Biggest I've got is 22mm and its still too small. Adjustable wrench won't go in the tight space on the compressor side
  14. I've still got the contisport 3's in that size that were on my E55 for a short time. I had them listed here for awhile, then decided to keep them but now that I've got the 20's I'm just going to keep the snows mounted on stock wheels for winter They're 75-80% life left and amazing tires $175 for the pair Call me about them and your PM from yesterday: 614-747-0002 Andy
  15. Obviously it introduced some extra NVH going up 2" in wheel size and going to a 25 series rear tire but the air suspension on the car makes the ride soo cushy to begin with that it's still the best riding car we've got and it nowhere even approaches being harsh or uncomfortable.
  16. Face of the wheel is smaller because of the stepped lip design. Hopefully said lip is stronger to protect against bending. The center caps are carbon. I'm really not a fan either as there's not a bit of carbon on the whole rest of the car and I'm not a huge fan of carbon in general. Looking for silver replacements.
  17. ...since she doesn't read the forum, she's getting a pair of C. Louboutin pumps for our upcoming anniversary.
  18. iron...they're rusty 'cause I wahsed the wheels quickly before snapping a few photos.
  19. Sold the grill awhile back. She hates mesh wheels so they were a no go. She's even more picky about wheels than I am. Got 10 spoke wheels on everything I own
  20. Expecting this? http://unitmagazine.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Christian-Louboutin.gif Since only the ladies and metro crowd will appreciate what's pictured above and this is a car forum... http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/092.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/106.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/100.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/094.jpg ForgeStar F10 Front 20x9 - 245/30/20 Rear 20x10.5 285/25/20 Lost about .4 lbs per corner in rotating mass for the wheel tire combo despite increasing size.
  21. Correct but the clutch on the supercharger is either engaged or not so you've got no boost or full boost, you can't set it up to slip to provide partial boost. The nice thing is our cars benefit from being Speed/Density cars so there can be a boost map and no boost map.
  22. The turbo cars aren't earth shattering for gas mileage around town, however they're pretty darn good on the highway. I recently got 30-31 MPG average on a trip down to Atlanta and back averaging 80mph. Not bad for a car of it's age and mileage.
  23. +1. Horrible cars Even the old ones shouldn't scare you if the owners can show good maintenance records My '99 has 183k miles. Original turbo chipped since 50k miles. Done timing belt maintenance twice now, couple of coil packs, gear position sensor, spark controller module and front wheel bearings in addition to regular maintenance.
