Gloves are something I recommend trying on at a store before ordering somewhere... For example, I can't even wear 3X a star gloves, but my current gloves are XL and fit fine.. Something with how some gloves are cut, I can't get my hand in... I won't buy them without trying them on first

You don't get endorsement at the class.. You get a card to waive the riding test... You still need to visit bmv to get license

For the record.. I think the 600 will be fine too.. Just think you will wanna upgrade in a year no matter which you end up on, and the gs looks nicer and seems to be a better deal and probably easier to resell later

Just get a ride to it and ride it home... Avoid the highway since you don't have endorsement.. Or bring along someone to ride it for you if you need to slab home

I know you're sold on that 600..but the gs500f that sire posted, looks like an awesome starter bike.. And at that price, you can resell it in a year and not lose much if anything... Hard to tell from your tiny avatar pic, but the gs looks a lot nicer too

Lot of people in here talking like it's a brand new 600 supersport... I think it will be fine to learn on, just take it easy for awhile and take the msf first

Agreed. I wouldn't trust the safety of a used helmet. Or the cleanliness.... To me, helmets are like underwear.. Nobody else wears my helmet, and I won't wear anybody else's

Thanks to everyone who came out last night.. Sorry for crashing out so early and going home... Every time I turned around, someone was feeding me a shot.. It caught up with me lol... I think they're ugly too... But a busa will probably be my next bike purchase (in addition to the vfr, not replacing it)... Wanna get something I can take to the strip... Then no more 2 up lol ill just let the gf ride the vfr occasionally

John, if you wanna head out to pataskala sometime soon and swap bikes, we can go for a short ride.. My vfr is sprung a little heavy though, but it handles great.. My gf has no complaints, she loves riding it with me Nowhere near the power of a busa... But I followed one through hocking (with my gf on the back no less) and couldn't even get a good rhythm going because I kept running up on its ass.. Haven't ridden one to compare, but I'll go out on a limb and say handling goes to the vfr by a lot over the busa
