not sure how i feel about putting prisoners to work....part of me wants them to earn their keep, but the other part of me doesnt like that honest workers would be put out of a job because the inmates were doing it

not sure man...PM me your tracking numbers and i will find out whats going on with them tomorrow we dont have a "holding area" at the obetz hub - so, im not sure where they could be...you should have gotten all 4 yesterday, and for only 2 to show up is very odd we were slammed today, a bunch of stuff was fubar....hell i sat around for an hour getting paid overtime waiting on trucks to show up that took so long they eventually just sent us home lol not sure if you can pick them up because unless theyre behind the counter that person wont know where to find them try finding a number to call and change the status to hold for pick up if youre worried about it - but shoot me tracking numbers and tomorrow i will find out whats going on with them and if i find them somewhere in the building ill take them to the truck personally and get them out to ya peak season is hitting and our building is tore up....its made for running 6 sets and were running 10-11 right now....its a nightmare once my boss finds out that theres tires just sitting around the building, whoever loads that route is most likely getting fired if theyre seasonal or new, if theyre union unfortunately they will end up with a slap on the wrist, but i cant think for the life of me why they didnt get delivered or where in the building they could possibly be....it almost sounds like theyre lost if they havent showed up yet, but then again you should have got them yesterday instead of today, so who knows also, when you send tracking numbers, PM me the address of the place they are shipping to (i can look up the route and start on that truck first - im actually getting to work a half hour early tomorrow because i have to give someone a ride who starts before me - so ill have a little time to snoop around)

it says they are known to come to the area this time of year for seals and sea lion (which both live on beaches)....i still stand by my statement, and even if great whites arent supposed to be there, great whites are listed as the second most dangerous shark, right after the bull shark...and bull sharks prefer water that is less than 3 feet deep because they bask in the sunlight, they can also breathe fresh water and are known to swim up rivers.....so great white or not theres always a risk any time someone gets in the water....im not against swimming in the ocean, i am actually hoping to plan a cageless dive at tiger beach to swim with tiger sharks sometime in my future when money allows....just hate when media and other people act like they own the water and that sharks arent welcome....youre in their territory, dont be surprised if they have a problem with it...reference back to my comment about lions

i hate when people act surprised that they get bit or when they want to try and hunt down evil sharks etc etc.....its like going to africa and finding a shady area with lions hanging out and then getting pissed off when they maul your ass for trying to hang out with them....people are stupid if you want to risk swimming in the ocean, by all means go and do it, but to act like its some huge thing when theres a shark sighting/attack, please

why do you prefer striker vs hammer? i love my hammer fired...DA/SA with manual decock lever is a great setup for an EDC....i like being able to cock/decock it myself, and i like how heavy the initial DA pull is, i dont have an external safety and i dont worry about the trigger at all - long as i dont pull it, its not going anywhere

i dislike the grip safety on the xd, and while im sure its lighter than the cz, it seems a lot bulkier

i think im going to pick up a 9mm sometime in the future - i do believe ill be giving glock a shot...do it, you know you want to of those two choices though, i would go with the cz i like this duo-tone finish on them best everybody has an XD, branch out some! lol.....plus, even though im sure XDs are great guns, theyre hideous looking

actually - if there was a thumb snap or some form of active retention built into that pocket - i would swear it was built as a gun holster....im not exactly sure what its real purpose is, maybe to tuck dollar bills into or something, i dont know, but it works perfectly...i might make my girl sew a thumb strap onto my jeans or something and make it official haha...i hate carrying open with no active retention, so i try to keep my hoodie down over it ...and my owb holster is just a cheap fobus paddle - i would like to pick up a blackhawk serpa sometime i wish i could carry iwb comfortably, but its just not for me...too much love handles lol, even tried a fancy mtac and still couldnt get the feel for it

im not worried about it lol...just wanted to know what it would be classified as, concealed or open. wasnt sure where the line is for that. and dont get me confused with scruit - i carry it in my pocket, i dont use a weiner holster like he does for his bersa

i dont keep anything in my pockets on that side, not even in the main pocket under the small one if i have it in my big pocket i use a pocket holster to keep it secure, if its in the small pocket its secure enough as is and im not worried about the trigger, its got 500lbs of draw in DA mode so as long as i dont put my keys or phone or something with it then it would never have a reason to get touched....appreciate the heads up though

np...they might have came into columbus on saturday, but then they dont get touched again until monday mornings...so unless your driver is from the columbus hub you most likely wouldnt get them until the next day, if your driver is from columbus then the staff there is just slacking off, those damn union employees ....they would get loaded up monday morning on a truck and sent to the other hub and then unloaded the next day (assuming they arent coming from columbus, idk where your office is, but the obetz hub does a lot of the deliveries outside of downtown and the NW side

the pair i picked up was from the redwing store in reynoldsburg ....like i said, i didnt give them a fair shot so i cant say too much about them, my initial impression though was that they just didnt feel right...i wouldnt be opposed to trying a pair out, but they would have to be given to me or something as a "demo" lol...i find the timberland pro series to be more comfortable the thing i do like about redwings though is that you can send them back to get resoled when they wear out...a good quality boot is going to outlast the sole, so having the option to resole instead of buying new boots is nice

what exactly defines concealed? i have my CHL so its not really an issue for me, but occasionally i pocket carry in the small pocket above my regular jean pocket...just put the muzzle into that pocket and it holds it pretty secure, covers the trigger, but the grip sticks out still....if i have a hoodie on it will usually cover it up, but sometimes it doesnt....would that be concealed since most/part of the gun is concealed, or open since it is still partially visible?
