  2. he kept it to sell on gunbroker is my guess - for more than 200 could be wrong though
  3. tyler minus 1 ...little shits...im glad youre finally killing them
  4. fffuuu im only half way to the cool kid club
  5. ^ this. when you put out better work than the competition for a better price, you dont need all the fancy stuff. hell, if your work is good enough you can even charge more than the big guys and still get the job because they know you're worth it. now, when you get to doing a certain volume, it all just comes with it....if youre running 30 crews and the business is making 100 million a year, then of course you have a website because you can afford to hire someone to do it doesnt mean you put out better quality work just because youre a huge company....a lot of people dont know the difference between good work and mediocre....we see stuff all the time that people say the last guy did a great job and it just looks like crap to us because we know how its supposed to look....its even in the details, what kind of edging, what pattern finish, is there any marks where it wasnt floated enough before it got broomed, did it set up too quick and they couldnt even get a broom in it, is it jointed or saw cut....etc.... not to say all big companies do mediocre work...but when you get to the point of having that many people working for you, the quality of work usually will fall some....you go from a perfectionist worker to a guy making $15/hr with no benefits ive seen some amazing things done by little no-name companies and people, and ive seen some horrible things from huge companies (and vice-versa, obviously)
  6. thanks guys! we do the absolute best work we can, for every single customer fizzer -
  7. We have a crew together for doing roofs now! If anyone is looking to have their roof redone we will be able to get you taken care of. We are also a licensed sewage treatment installer - we can install septic systems and leach fields etc now My sig is kind of brief, so heres a run down of some services we offer: concrete block foundation work pavers, flagstone, etc water lines (we can even run some of these now without tearing up the yard) sewer lines sewer snake services yard drains and gutters sump pump replacement and new installs and now we are doing roofs Almost anything you need we can get done. We are licensed and insured for concrete, water, sewer, and general contracting. We also have a plumber we work closely with, and an electrician. The owners cousin runs a deck company as well and he puts out decks of only the highest quality. Need a big project done, such as a room addition or full house make-over? We do occasional sub-contracting work for an award winning home improvement company and can get you with them for all your big home make-over needs. Here's a couple pics from some recent jobs. I'm horrible at remembering to take pictures before and after, these are the couple jobs where i somehow remembered
  8. we dont have a website yet (its in the works right now though) and we stay booked almost constantly....few low periods here and there, but not bad....and our work is top notch, and affordable
  9. theres nothing to file....she has no way to identify the guy AFJ video has a license plate and the guy on video.....what is she going to say? "some guy in a white truck tried to run me over" ? do you know how many white freightliners there are on the road? if she had a plate number or a company name or anything, i would absolutely say file it...but she really doesnt have anything to go by sadly
  10. ^ agreed...if someone was trying to kill me, i dont care at all...ill jump on a bicycle path leading down into a state park if i have to...whatever gets you out of the situation
  11. traffic should help you get away...you can fit between cars, he cant!
  12. i wouldnt bother for all 3 reasons you listed.... number 3, if there was witnessed and stuff etc then maybe they could get him with some little BS charge...but for the most part, i would say just let it go and move on....glad you're ok...shit happens sometimes, next time dont cut in front of me while im driving my dump truck to work and we wont have a problem, ok?
  13. yep...columbus is just horrible...first time riding down in southern ohio i was amazed that drivers seemd to acknowledge bikers...hell, they even scooted to the right when we were passing just to give us a little more room....columbus sucks...i imagine a lot of cities are like that though...people got too much on their minds and are too impatient, etc... once you get out of the cities its so much better i love you. no homo.
  14. i never buy scratch offs....ive never won more than $2 on one, i gave up lol...ive bought maybe 10 my whole life they do make ok stocking stuffers though ....not a serious gift though for sure
  15. i work with a guy who wins a ton of money on those things.....but he spends so much that i bet he actually loses....in the past year hes hit a $3000 scratch off, and a $500 scratch off being his two biggest ones...but he plays 10 and 20 dollar tickets, daily hes not too smart either....one day he had 3 tickets, $20 each....first was a dud, second he won $40, third he won $10.....he says "wow, two winners in a row, i just won $50"....i didnt want to burst his bubble and tell him he actually lost $10 and didnt win anything....whatever floats his boat i guess
  16. im always up for some shooting...got a nova that still needs broken in, and need to test out this too now that its back together!
  17. thanks! they did a great job...very reasonable price too and the sight install is perfect - and i hear HKs kinda suck to put sights in because they never just push in, they always need fitted
  18. just wanted it refinished - the finish was wearing off in some spots....i dont mind wear showing, but it bugs me if its not wear i induced myself....i bought it used (well used lol) now its nice and fresh...i like two-tone better than all black also, and i like the durability of hard chrome for carry
  19. they did amazing work!! i truly cant recommend them enough brushed hard chrome, and installed my tritium night sights fell in love with this gun all over again! on to the pics (ignore my kinda chopped up grip extension....it follows the "function over form" thing....really though i cut too much in a few spots....ordering a new one sometime and will do it much better the second time around)
  20. i believed him also...i see no reason for him to lie about it
  21. fuck it, i repped her. once for the comment and once again for giant boobs if the damn peanutbutter rule didnt prohibit double rep
  22. my original post in this thread was for my bike it had been wrecked and repaired in 1997 with 300 miles (still brand new - he only made one payment on it before a stolen car ran a red light and t-boned him) on it....my dad bought it back from insurance and repaired it and never got it inspected...somehow they kept renewing his plates and insurance so he never bothered i took it in there 11 years later when my dad passed and left it to me, they wouldnt give plates to me unless i got it inspected...it had 17k miles on it and no receipts for anything and they didnt say a second word about it it was actually a pretty painless process....they seemed pretty cool to me, the inspector talked with me and everything....maybe i got them in a good mood or something...this was in 2009
  23. if youre worried about it...put your old fender back on (rash wont matter, as long as its not cracked)...if it cracked, modify it (shave and spray can) to make it look better, or something...doesnt need to be perfect then go to a bike shop, buy a set of generic universal mirros off the shelf, brake pedal, levers, whatever...just grab something off the shelf thats universal or even something made for your bike then just return the stuff and keep your original receipt (dont let them mark it up or anything, or when it prints originally ask them if you can get a second copy of it) then take the receipt with you, pass inspection, go ride...profit
  24. when i went to mine, i explained that i didnt know i needed to keep receipts so i didnt have any...they didnt give me any hassle and i dont even think the vehicle has to be fully repaired, just "road worthy"...hell, sometimes not even that....there was a guy there when i was down there with a wrx that was still smashed, and they passed it because he stuck some headlights on it
