  2. ^ just skimming the last 10 or so pages of that thread - that bike has soooo much money into it...damn
  3. i saw silverfox's bike at pony the other day when it was 30 with 0 visibility due to fog...thats dedication
  4. thanks for the tips chevy...hunting license is only $19 so im gonna pick one up, tags shouldnt be more than a few bucks i wouldnt think...maybe get out next week and shoot some stuff lol
  5. went to gander mtn and found a 26" remington 870, black for $329.99 went to vances and they had it listed for $299.99. stood vances for 30mins and they had gone from #98 to #4....i was #16. so i got tired and decided the $30 wasnt worth sitting there for hours then getting caught in rush hour. Went back to gander and bought it, and they were nice enough to price match for me and I got it for $299.99... never bought a shotgun before so i asked the guy which slugs I would need for the barrel I have, and he showed me which choke tube I needed and which kind of slugs. due to being broke - i only bought a small pack of slugs (5 or 6) and the choke tube out the door i was around $350, i was satisfied with it. ive got to mail in my $30 rebate now and then when that money comes in, I will get a cleaning kit for it....cant wait to shoot it question though... do i need a hunting license and tags to hunt on private property? was thinkin about goin out next week and huntin some deer at my girls house if i do need license and tags, how much does that cost? and where would i get it done?
  6. vances and bo are so far...but ill post up what i see at gander mtn tonight and then maybe go to the others tomorrow...wont jump the gun until i find something for sure i can always buy a shorter barrel later on
  7. thanks chevy...im gonna swing by gander mountain today and see what kinda deals they have...i want a black 870 with a short and long barrel - for under 300...does that sound unrealistic?
  8. i want a deer gun that i can also use for home defense... would the 18" barrel be too short for deer, and would the 28" be too long for home def? im leaning towards this model http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/37_64/products_id/95587
  9. those full size xds look huge...do you conceal that? or just have as a shooter?
  10. cobra r's werent released until 1993...the only 65s that had cobra anything, were Shelby GT 350s, and they only had a cobra on the steering wheel...first cobras werent till 68 and they had the gt350 and gt500, then packages like super snake and kr...ending in 1970...next cobra didnt come out until 93, they had the cobra and the cobra r...there was fox body cobras, and the mustang II cobra...but those dont count lol but i think i know what ya meant lol you would have loved my ministers car... it was an authentic 68 gt350 with a fully built suspension completely set up for road racing...it would tear up road courses with modern day cars and beat them he didnt mind hacking up a gt350 since he had another one that was pristine like it just rolled off the showroom, a regular fastback with a shelby appearance package, that was driven by carroll shelbys person assistant, a 1970 boss 302, and a 70 chevelle ss (odd car to have in the mix)...plus a few other misc like a 1g lightning, 60s lincoln, etc **edit, unless you meant actual AC cobras, but there wasnt an R model so i got confused
  11. wish they made an M model of the sub-compact 40

  14. hes def not afraid of putting it sideways and doing over 140mph
  15. ^ that was my exact thought, a single round headlight ....i think a vrod headlight would look great in it...people put those headlights in all kinds of bikes and they always look top notch like this http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/200911/ducati-rad02-imola-c_800x0w.jpg either way the bike is looking really good and i cant wait to see it finished
  16. the whole thing looks great and you do awesome work but i really dislike the headlight
