  1. I always put the side stand down to kill engine, then I get off bike, turn handlebars, turn off and remove key I had an incident once where I shut it off with the key, sat on it for a minute and checked something on my phone that was in my tank bag, then attempted to dismount with the stand up... Almost dropped it. It gets shut off either way, so it doesn't matter, but I prefer to put kickstand down right away I've never used the kill switch on anything except dirt bikes with no keys
  2. On that note... Once I find a job, the 6.7 is on my possibility list... But I'm so bias to the body style on the 7.3... Any complaints? Did you ditch the ecoboost?
  3. Tpoppa cool target, i need to print some of these.....im not super accurate with my carry gun...i can get all the rounds on paper, but they just arent grouped as nicely as i would like OP - I second whoever suggested DA/SA..My carry gun is DA/SA so the first trigger pull is very heavy and then the follow up shots are fairly light....i dont remember without looking it up, but its around 11lbs/7lbs if i remember right....no external safety, so i like the heavy trigger pull....that gun isnt going to fire unless you intentionally mean to fire it, no worries about catching clothing in the trigger or any of that....ive known people who buy glocks, put competition triggers on them of like 2lbs, and then carry them daily....it just seems like an unnecessary risk to me
  4. Arizona is constitutional carry... No permits required, and people aren't out gunning each other down on accident every day... I kinda agree with Tonik, it's just not a "real" problem
  5. Yea the originals had stator issues... This bike was released in I think 2008 or so over seas.. 2011 model got some minor updates, like different led light in headlamp and different forks/bars... The 2011+ are the only ones brought to USA so stator issues are supposedly corrected for all US models

  7. I never said all Hondas. But this is a common issue on my particular model and the VFR800... Google it, you will find hundreds of results.
  8. well....on the bright side, at least it wasnt your good bike.... that fuckin sucks man...and i was pissed about my ipod being stolen from my car this week, guess that's really not so bad considering
  9. what is this water you speak of? lol jk...my vmax had battery you had to keep filled, but man, sealed is the way to go
  10. Damn, company I work for would fire someone in a second for tampering with anything IT... Especially anything offense or that slows production... Must be nice not working for the corporate machine... We had an employee almost get written up just for saying "gal" because apparently it's a racist term in Texas th nobody else knows about... This woman was a 90yr old cookie baking grandma lady, she didn't have a racist bone in her body, sweet as can be to everyone
  11. Wow had no clue that would be such a big difference... I'm due anyways, it's a 12 with 6k and factory coolant
  12. Even had days where it's cooler idling in the sun than riding on the freeway because of how hot the air is
  13. Bike runs over 220 in the summer with fans going... They run constantly when it's warm, bike is around 217-220 while riding and high as 228 sitting
  14. She's alive! Thanks for all the help guys... Tender when I get home and I'll look into new battery soon
  15. Lol nvm I'm an idiot... Have it sat in there wrong... Been a long morning
  16. Any advice on battery? Still sitting here
  17. Not a care issue this time...bikes been this way since new. Only 6k miles on it
  18. Can a battery be hooked up backwards? I just went to reinstall and realized the terminals are flipped... So I probably went positive to negative when I jumped... But I've owned bike 2yrs and this is stock battery... But if I flip it, the cords don't reach.... Afraid to hook it up now, but I feel like it's had to have been this way the whole time
  19. Battery was 100 percent on the charger but only tested 75 percent at 12.4v.. Gonna try it out, wish me luck... Might start looking for a new one soon
  20. I always blamed the vfr on the clock that runs 24/7 with no key in the ignition.. But this bike doesn't have a clock if it's off, so not sure what the deal is... Fucking Honda
  21. I tried jump starting it... I couldn't get it to fire... Parking lot is flat as can be, only managed to get up to 6mph and it lurched like it was close, but no go... I tried like 5 times and gave up
