  1. make it 22 more, ill send it to him as soon as i find some door handles online for my girls car, gotta xfer money for them also so ill do it all at once
  2. brian, i made a $1 test donation....log in to your paypal and tell me if its showing up and im glad its coming together, i really hope we can get this done for you
  3. maybe submit a letter to QFM and see if they would be interested in helping out? if they set out a donation box at one of the QSL bike nights, im sure we would get some money out of that deal aswell
  4. i like the $10 ride idea someone posted up in another thread also dyno day is a good one too since a lot of people had some tweaking to do after that first dyno day
  5. yep...every time you send a paypal transaction, you can write in the description what its for
  6. this works out perfectly then...since your family already has an account setup for this purpose, go to paypal and set up a business account and link it right to your existing creat account, click business, do non-profit, and then verify by linking your account OR set it up as a personal if it will be easier, is the checking account listed to a business or does it have anybody name? if its got a name on it then you can run it as personal...if your dads name or something is on the checking account, then open a personal paypal, its easy as cake...just sign up, enter your bank account info, and youre good to go...then post the email addy here for us to send the donations to either way, go check out paypal and get something set up since you have an account already then post up the email address here for the donations to be sent to and ill get it updated on the facebook page if you cant figure out how to get the paypal account going, post up any questions you have and im sure somebody here can help you out
  7. not opposed to this either, but if we go that route, brian has to take over and start the paypal...cant have a diff account name and bank account figured this way, i could keep it all under one name and keep updates going as donations come in, keep the stress off of him to set the stuff up and keep the updates going
  8. OK talked to Sam and we got something worked out im going to make a personal paypal account, using an email listed under the foundation name, and with a separate checking account that i will be opening once we hit our $500 limit i will keep screenshots and updates of the paypal link and the account to keep everybody in the loop of how much we have collected and how much we still have left sound alright with everybody?
  9. ok as of right now....i give up on the paypal...ill have to maybe look into a bit more, i tried it a few ways and i couldnt get any of the links to work properly...i could make donations, but they couldnt be claimed, idk.... for now, if anyone has a donation, please send it to the PO Box that brian put up, or hold onto it until we get a benefit ride going
  10. http://www.ohio-riders.com/group.php?groupid=63
  11. tbutera2112 has created a new social group called "Brian Kinney Foundation", with the following description: To join this group visit the social groups homepage where this new group will be listed.
  12. ok...i made a $1 donation just to test it out...hasnt came through, so i will wait and see how its looking tomorrow i removed the donation link just so nobody makes any donations until i get it all worked out ill go make that group
  13. ok i set out a standard non-profit business account... its not linked to a bank account, and it has a 500 dollar per month withdrawl limit so in the event that we raise the total amount needed, we can have brian add his bank account onto the page and have it sent directly to him, if not, we will cash out whatever we get and he can put it in a separate account in his personal bank sound ok?
  14. i can sign up without all that extra stuff and run it as a normal account for a business...the rates are a bit higher, but not too bad... its about 70 cents more per 100 dollars....so i think ill do it that way thoughts?
  15. this is starting to sound more complicated than i thought
  16. i dont even know what a social group is i just made an email account for it, and im signing up for paypal at the moment....if need be, ill swing by my credit union tomorrow or the day after and set up a free checking account to link with this
  17. lol ill give them a call later, im unable to at the moment and its hard to make shit happen when nobody here knows me lol....i doubt anyone is gonna want to submit donations to something setup by some random ass dude...thats why im trying to find someone to team up with to get this all rolling
  18. this looks like it would be a good option https://merchant.paypal.com/cgi-bin/marketingweb?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=merchant/donations would have to check on needing an account or not though, perhaps somebody should call and ask them if a bank account has to be tied to nonprofit accounts like this, or if they can just be cashed out as a check
  19. hmm...maybe its changed since she signed up then, idk
  20. im pretty sure you dont need a bank account tied to it....you just cant add funds without one....i talked to my mom and her paypal is NOT linked to her bank account, she requests paper checks and when she purchases with her paypal, she runs it as a visa
  21. i PMd casper and never heard back, so im assuming he isnt interested....who else?
  22. really? ive only seen these pushed to stage 3 with 280hp... stage 3 chip, turbo back exhaust, open air intake only way i see to make more HP than that, would be to throw in a larger turbo, but then you have to find a way to custom tune it and also to bypass the computer to allow it to make more boost....it would not be easy AT ALL if i was going that far to do it, ide get a larger bottom end out of a cobalt, some nice forged internals, port/polish my head, slap it on there with some cams, and a gt35r.... run a stand alone ecu and bypass all the factory shit....but then youre left with a very raw car, killing all resale value, making the SID worthless, etc...it can be done, but its definately not easy to mod these if youre looking for much more than 280bhp....and cant forget, EXPENSIVE as hell to mod
