  1. the less gear the better when females i dont know are riding how about those two hot chicks riding around QSL a couple weekends ago in mini skirts and tank tops two up on a sport bike...do want, fuck safety
  2. nice bike man...would be sweeter if you got rid of the fairing on the front and went the streetfighter route
  3. what it comes down to: is the resale value hit on a rebuilt title going to be worth more to you than taking this entire hit out of pocket? no use spending 2 grand to fix it up because youre worried about losing 2 grand retail value when you go to sell...how long do you plan to keep it? lets say you sell it in 2016, its 10yrs old...its a 2500-3k bike by that time, 2k with rebuilt title, you lose about a grand but already went outta pocket 2k to fix it... if you plan to sell it within the next couple years, you need to sit down and look at what these are selling for rebuilt and clean and compare the differences all that is assuming that the transmission isnt fucked up, if the trans is fucked up like you first thought it may be, then ide say let insurance total it out and get you something else in my honest opinion....if it were my bike, and i didnt have any kind of sentimental attachment to it, i would let insurance total it out, then ide buy it back if the price was right and flip it for a profit wrecked to someone who wants to make a track bike out of it, and take the money from wrecked ninja and add it with leftover from insurance and get you a nice clean titled bike
  4. i still dont get it.... why wouldnt the seller do the title friday and just give it to the buyer on saturday when they pick up the bike?
  5. Sapphy....what youre saying doesnt make sense you dont need both parties to notarize, only the seller....no need to get bill of sale plus witness etc etc then mail it or whatever the seller can take it in to any bank and have it notarized with nothing but their signature on it....then they can meet up with buyer, work out price, mileage, etc and hand over the title the ONLY part of the title that needs notarized is the seller signature, nothing else has to be filled out for the notary ive walked into the bank alone and had this done plenty of time... i say " i need to get a title notarized " they say ok sign here on the seller signature line, i sign, they stamp it...good to go
  6. seller can notarize title without buyer there.... that covers any after hour pick ups.... seller can get title notarized at their own leisure, then hand it over to buyer when the pick up the bike...then the buyer just fills out their info, mileage, price, and takes it to the bmv to get it switched its that easy....theres no reason a seller should ever hand over an unnotarized title.....something seems shady here, goodluck man....hopefully the seller doesnt report it stolen to try and fuck you

  12. this happened to me...and i even had witnesses...yet, the cop didnt write any tickets, therefore the guys insurance refused to fix my truck and i was SOL... i was 16 and it was my first truck, i was damn proud of that thing and some old fucker blew through a red light and smashed the back of it while i was making a turn with a green arrow....and i wasnt even the first car, there was a van in front of me that went first this pic is taken after my dad and i got under the truck and kicked the bed out a little bit...the tailgate wouldnt even close right after it happened (put a tie down from driver side front on bed to pass. rear, and span a tire iron around the middle to tighten it up and pull the bed back into shape some), and 1/3 of the bumper is missing because it was ripped straight back so we cut it off
  13. ok my mistake...didnt realize you guys were talking about aluminum levers...i heard cheap hongkong and thought it was that powdered metal shit like bikemaster
