girlfriend works for a reconstruction company that deals with fire/mold/water damage and things of the like. She said, an ozone or hydroxyl generator should pull it out, said there should be no problem with the exposed beams.

^ try an external display. If that works fine you may want to check the ribbon cable connecting the LCD, it may have come loose.

I have an old Bulova I inherited somewhere at the house, square face, leather band. circa 1930's? What would you charge to clean that up? Has some minor scratched other than that its in perfect working order.
