Thanks guys. Ive been working from home for the last 2 years so I wasn't sure what was in. After training in atlanta I'll be 100% remote so back to jeans and a tshirt

Flying out to Atlanta for job training Sunday, dress code is business casual. Usually at my previous employers that has meant polos and slacks. Going to pick up some clothes, thinking some wool slacks a few button ups, a couple sweaters and maybe a blazer of some sort. What's everyones opinion on 2014 "business casual" so I don't look like a 40 year old single dad.

Anyone get this in the mail? Apparently thet randomly select people to take this survey... My dads never seen one and neither have I. I tossed the survey in the trash and a week or so ago. Had a CDC rep come to my house to ask me questions since I didn't send it back. Government ID, civilian plates. Called the CDC and she does definitely work there. I refused to answer her questions and she got all bent out of shape and told me they'd just send her out again in a couple weeks. Anyone else have these idiots come out/received the survey?

Honestly, I'd save up your pennies and ride your maxima until the wheels fall off and then buy something you really want that isn't coming from a place where you can't inspect it yourself until after you buy it. You never know what you might get when it actually gets here, could end up spending more money than its worth fixing hack jobs that the prior owner did.

That's what I'm leaning towards, I went ahead and ordered the bosch upstream specific sensors and a set of muzzy extensions, will see how that goes when they get here thursday

So I just put the bumper on my mustang (06' GT) to get it ready to move and took it out for a bit and it's throwing a few codes. I just recently installed a new H pipe and a set of longtubes. P0133 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0153 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1) P2195 O2 Sensor Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P2197 O2 Sensor Stuck Lean (Bank 2 Sensor 1) I checked for exhaust leaks a while back but didn't find any, the only other thing I did was extend the O2's by hand because I was in a rush and didn't want to wait for shipping on the manufactured extensions (I did use slightly larger gauge wiring when I extended them both) The O2's are both brand new Bosch sensors but one thing that has me wondering about them is that they were marked as being compatible for both upstream and downstream. Wondering if I should replace them first with upstream specific sensors? The other thing that I don't remember if I did or not was change the O2 transport delay. The car also seems to run fine (I haven't moved my wideband to reach the bung yet so I'm not sure where it's sitting at AFR wise.) I had it sputter once today while coming to a stop (before the codes popped) and figured it might be due to the gas in it as it's been sitting all winter and most of summer. Any thoughts?

I was looking at a uhaul but they quoted me almost 1500 for a 6x12, thats the same price he was giving me to take one to Vegas. Is their pricing structure different from store to store?

Does anyone happen to have an enclosed trailer i might be able to borrow to haul my crap to Myrtle Beach? I think a 6x12 or larger would work fine. I'd be willing to pay cash or let someone hold onto my mustang as collateral. Shouldn't need it for any longer than 3 days

Thanks for the suggestion on the dancer bar and location. I've accepted the offer in Myrtle Beach as of today. Will be heading to atlanta in a few weeks for training and then back to ohio to start hauling all of my stuff to Myrtle Beach. Pretty happy with my decision, closer to family and financially I'll be better off. Cheaper to move to Myrtle Beach and cheaper to live there than Vegas. Now i get to start hunting for a nice mobile/modular/slab house with enough space to build me a 40x60 shop! Thanks for all of the suggestions/opinions it's really helped me with this tough decision.

Anyone have any suggestions for moving a motorcycle in a uhaul trailer? No matter which route I go I'll have to move my crap. I'm thinking a 6x12 uhaul trailer will work (I'm dumping most of my belongings). I'll be having 1 car my mustang shipped and towing everything else with my saab. I had thought about taking a sheet of plywood, and building a frame on each side out of 2x4's, strapping the bike to that and then that to the side rails, anyone have any experience in this?

I've never been to Vegas personally or that side of the country for that matter (besides being in Texas when my father was stationed there in the military long before I could remember) Myrtle Beach on the other hand I am familiar with and generally like the weather/area (I hit MB 2-3 times a year usually). I mentioned being able to ride my motorcycle year round in Vegas and the architect I was interviewing with kind of laughed about that, said the bikers he works with refer to it as the hair dryer effect in the summer months. I also hate extreme heat like that so I'm thinking I'd get out there and get real tired of it after a year or so. Myrtle Beach during its hottest months are perfectly fine for my preferences. I've also become pretty used to working from home. I roll out of bed and throw on yesterdays clothes or whatever, handle my shift then hop in the shower and go to do whatever from 9-2am, it's definitely convenient in all aspects. Thanks for all the replies guys, getting some of your views and opinions has been awesome. I'm pretty sure I'm set on the remote gig, seems to be a better fit for me all-round. Financially it'll be hell of a lot cheaper to pack up my 2000sq/ft house and move it 600 miles vs 2000 miles, and I'd probably be staying at my parents place for a month or two until I find a house out there. Another selling point is being able to find land in/around Myrtle Beach, much cheaper than Vegas and wherever my next house is I want enough land to build a ~40x60' shop. There's also presumably more half naked hoes at the beach than the desert (excluding the street walkers and strippers obviously) I'd also have to make all of my vehicles pass emissions in Vegas because none of them will currently.

Their terminology is a bit odd, it's definitely not a temporary position. It is a senior level/lead position. I declined them the first time when their HR department told me the pay was between 50-65k (it was initially a junior level role). Their hiring manager got a hold of my resume and after a few discussions & interviews they've decided they can definitely raise that (double the salary ranges they were looking at) I actually work from home currently. I work Friday-Sunday 9am-9pm, in the office 4 hours or so on Fridays for meetings. Very close with my parents, weren't so much so before but after my sister passed away we've become extremely close. The rest of my family is in Ohio and those I have absolutely no interest in even speaking to. My extended family (not including my parents and one of aunt & uncles). They're all a bunch of goodie too shoes who think they're better than everyone and I was always the black sheep of the family being as I dropped out of high school and never persued education outside of that (yet I'm making more money than most of them, who's laughing now shit-family?) I personally have no family of my own, single, 26 year old bachelor. Work/Life balance currently is pretty much zero. I work at JPMorgan Chase for their largest middleware system (and I'm essentially doing two jobs, middleware app support & app development) We've had a few people move outside the bank so I've been working on average 65-70 hours a week not including on call coverage that I've had to take on. The company definitely isn't going anywhere (It's Dell, a subsidiary of Dell actually called SecureWorks) Dell bought out SecureWorks who previously bought out a few different companies and subsidiaries including one of VeriSigns companies (MSS) Growth was actually a huge discussion in my second interview, in the past year they've grown two-fold and are projected to do the same over the next two fiscal years. Remote work is becoming a big part of the field I work in, I've ran across dozens of 100% remote positions recently.
