  1. Locked up, no. Without a license, that is happening. No one is getting away with anything. Due process in a court of law is taking effect now. Granted, discretion took place here that should not have taken place. should apply fairly and equally for all. That includes me. If I get stopped I do not expect that my badge will bail me out of anything, although it probably will and I will not ask for a citation if an officer decides not to write one. But I will not bitch if an officer decides to write me one either. And if any one asks. I would have writen four citation that day. Two for speed, two for reckless on a public roadway. No jail, and no tow. Anyone else would get the same if they did not run.
  2. I don't think this was a cover up, I think this was a case of someone taking discrestion and a supervisor in the upper ranks putting the kybosh on that. That is why internally it came faster for the Trooper than it did for the Gahanna Officer. The discretion never should have happened to begin with.
  3. Isaac's Papa, I take it Booger was the cat and not the rabbit? Kind of has that pirate look on his face. LOL
  4. Oh, you only think there's nothing out there. But there's something out there alright. You or I cann't see it, but Gremlin sees it, he sees it. Good boy Gremlin! Good boy!
  5. Hold on, I got a dollar. I'm looking...looking. Never mind, I guess I spent it a while back
  6. So tomorow is court? If people go, remember, represent OR, the riding community and yourselves well by being respectful of the court. If you make it into the court, NO HATS, no cell phone ringers, no talking while in session, be presentable, keep comments to yourselves, don't react to the ruling inside the courtroom, and use common sense. Nothing quite like God on Earth as a judge in his court room.
  7. You are correct. Again, you are correct.
  8. So, who from Cols area is going up Sunday? Riding or driving?
  9. Just curious what your porn name would be. The concept is simple. Take the name of your childhood pet and combine it with the name of the street you grew up on. Childhood Pet Name + Childhood Street Name = Porn Name Mine is PATCH COGSWELL
  10. For those of you that have met me and those of you that will meet me I hope you know this to be true. There is a distinct difference between the officer on the job and the officer off the job. Not a hypocrite, just a human. I will not betray may badge and would not risk losing it. Public Safety was a non issue as far as linking him as a LEO when he set out on that bike, just the same as when I do on my own time. Cop on duty, biker on the bike, etc etc. A cop who lives by the stressers of the job 24 / 7 will die within 1 year of retirement. So I take off my uniform and thus, I no longer go by the cop mentality. I don't know if that is what they were doing, but they are human. Dumb ones, but human. :violin::violin:
  11. Neither the PBA or FOP will represent an officer, Deputy of Trooper in criminal proceedings. They stand this alone. Shamansky comes out of his own pocket.
  12. Don't let this out of this forum, it could ruin my career in law enforcement, but here it goes. Here is my pic...
  13. Jagr, can't help but wonder, does your signtaure icon mean that you are into fisting?
  14. He probably kept a safe distance as he saw the two of us talking. Was afraid of an unsprung trap.
  15. Mrbret, it was nice meeting you prior to the meet at Meijer. Sorry I couldn't go. Got held up at work. Always nice seeing a fellow ZX rider.
  16. Yeah, bet afterwards he had a real sense of satisfaction knowing that she will take him seriously.
  17. Yeah. He is going to have to grab his ankles on that.
  18. Got to give this guy credit. He wanted to get the job done and he sure knew how to do it. Here is the link and the cut and paste. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,531620,00.html Cab Driver Beheads Self in Bizarre Suicide A taxi driver decapitated himself in his cab in what appears to have been a gruesome suicide. The man, believed to be in his 30s, tied a rope to a lamppost and the other end around his neck before driving off in Southwark, southeast London, on Friday. His body was found by police slumped in the car — with his severed head yards away. Police are treating the driver's death as suicide and are trying to trace his next of kin. Officers were called at 12.40 a.m. Friday to the horrific scene in Great Suffolk Street, where the car had crashed into a pillar. "Officers attended and the driver was found dead inside the vehicle," a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said.
