  1. I got my exo-700 at SBTG. I know not 1000, but hey good deal. Limited choice of the graphics, but $75! my first Scorpion, but very pleased. nice inner pads and I am very impressed. very little use on this and no long ride yet, but it feels as good as Arai and better than HJC AC-12 (sorry little old comparison) http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=13093
  2. Hey scottie, thanks, that is very nice of you. If too much trouble with your dad, no worry. If somebody here feel comfortable teaching me basics and let me shoot gun for biginner (maybe XR100 kind of gun and/or 250~400cc street bike) would be great, I do not mind paying some money, not $160 lol, for bullets and other stuff cost ya. I do not know asking to shoot other people's gun is ok or not. I will not let biginner ride my bike or some of guitar so I thought maybe rude to ask.... I thought this thread was ended. Ninja usually does not use a gun, cowboy does lol. I do have common sense such as not pointing the tip to popel or hold well to deal with feedback, etc. but I do not know enough. I shot air gun and miniture bullet kind (I think bullet is real, but tiny not much of feedback at all.)
  3. Thanks guys, I am from Japan for college, over 20 years ago....and lived in California until moved to Ohio. I keep hearing shooting gun is awesome feeling so what a hell. I am 43yo and try once and maybe go deeper... I have small kids at home so I do not want to have at my house until feel fully comfortable (I mean 100% in control no matter what happens kind of knowledge) I will try to contact biginner safety class, I always tell people take the MSF class so I guess same for gun.
  4. Thanks, that was fast. I checked web. for the safety class "$160 w/ firearm rental" I was thinking more like $40~50...
  5. Please school me about gun. I have never shoot and I don't think I want to own it. Can you suggest any place I can rent gun and shoot? (how much?) I am not talking about the place shoot disc, more like the indoor place with closer distance. ( I don't think I can hit the flying stuff. ) I have no idea hand gun, shot gun or AK47? lol I think want to try different kind if they let you switch. This is question like "how to start engine on motorcycle?" " how to ride?" but be nice lol.
  6. Thanks and I hope those do good for you.
  7. Several people interested in but nobody came to buy yet. I will sell whoever come first. BTW located in Marysville (about 20min west of Dublin on 33).
  8. Free gloves are gone. Boots and Pants are still for sale.
  9. Akra got very good build quality. I saw some Muzzy with not so good welding and rivet work( not sure from factory or not) Tsukigi makes good quiet one, but not big fun of the looks (too long) I need to ride this thing as it is before start modify power and suspension. About Ohio ZRX/CBX ralley, I saw on ZRXOA and sounds good. I will contact Jeff, but maybe just one day (sat or sun)
  10. Thanks man, I appreciate you understand ZRX style. ZRX seems to be the bike "like it" or "hate it". My kids are like "why did you buy this old bike with funny square lights?" "Is this like antique collector's bike?" My kids are used to see supersports so... Several guys asked me which year is this bike? and they can't believe it is 2001 model. They thought it is from 80's. Now it is green "Shrek" color, but even kids said paint job is awesome.
  11. Mark, thanks for your donation. My wife wants to go ride little far from our house this year, so planning to come see your green one too.
  12. Thanks. Blue is "pretty" but You know Green is awesome because add 15hp on ZRX and I heard 20+hp on ZX10R. I saw blue 1200 and that stand out in ZRX cloud because majority of zrx is green... I usually like to be "different" but 2001 zrx1200r candy lime is the one for me.
  13. Oh I know, flat black megaphone will look great. I heard Muzzy re-start making the Ti full exhaust, which was discountinued for several years.... When have enough $$$ to spend, remove air box for K&N POD and full exhaust and jetting.......woulkd be nice.... I had two bros Ti cans on my last bike and I love the sound of aftermarket exhaust away from my house, but not around my neighborhood....lol.
  14. My project ZRX1200 is almost done and I just want to share my joy and thanks to guys helped me. ZRX has been my favorite bike since '99 but always I choose Honda bikes when I buy used motorcycle, VFR, VTR, etc. Finally, I got this 2001 ZRX1200R in Indiana at really good price. I tow U-haul trailer and got it in beginning of FEB this year. Done Brake & clutch fuild change, chain, F&R sproket, Fork and shock oil change, Fixed gauge wiring, broken throttle cables fixed, etc. CNC fuel cap (ZRXOA memeber original), sliders & spool(ZRXOA), Mirror extender, Corbin G&L with backrest (for my 7yo baby girl- she wanted me to buy gold wing or BMW RT because of the back rest) Driven superbike grip, ebay $39 levers, LED gauge bulbs, Major change is the paint from Black to Green. see before and after pic. I wanted only candy lime color on ZRX and checked with Paul before buying this black one. Special Thanks to guys helped me and contact info for member might be instrested in. Paul (aka Attackpainter) 614-394-2195. Thanks for doing this for beginning of race season with your trip schedule. You exceeded my expectation. high quality, no decal on my ZRX stripes. I wish I know how to take better pic to show. Jamie 260-710-4094 www.daughertymotorsports.com Thanks for great advice from Superhawk era and doing service while waiting. also thanks swapping damaged fork cap. Ryan (aka Hoblick) 614-256-3407 Thanks for taking care of throttle cable. It was PITA. I finally find the trick from ZRXOA member and now no more sticky thorttle. I will ask you for stem head bearing change. later. Mark (aka fox_racing_guy) Thanks for the free turn sgnals. I used for front and rear needed to be changed to yours. I hate the red side marker things previous owner added.
  15. Thanks for nice words. Boots was good, hold well. I used few over night trip on mountains. Problem was as you saw I got big calf with leather inside of the boots.
  16. Bump. Feel free to make offer. Great ideal for somebody going to O.R. Geal's Gap ride.
  17. Oh ok. I don't think this might be the best one for your use.
  18. Ummm. I am not sure, but this is like 2 pcs leather suits so maybe jeans will limit your knee movement....You can try if if you want. I wear compression pants (on the other word thin tights) under it.
  19. ***NEW LOWER PRICE*** To get idea, I am 5'10" 200lbs (I got big heavy bone, looks more 185lbs) Jeans 36-32 or 38-32. Shoes size 9.5. 1) Teknic Speedstar boots size 43. NEW PRICE $35 firm I bought this from OR member, jbot and used very few times. I have very wide foot and big calf and this is little tight on me. price low because some wear and tear, but functional. 2) AGV leather pants size 34 NEW PRICE $40 firm ***SOLD*** I bought this from OR member, iceman Great pants very comfortable. If your jeans size is around 36 will fit you good. Some rush on knee area. 3) RS Taichi White/Red Leather Glove "3L" (Japanese sizing) ***FREE*** It had been shipped. ***GONE*** I wear A*stars XL gloves and this is little bigger than that. Used well, you can see the black rubbed marking palm but still good condition. *RS Taichi may not be well known in the US, but they used to make GP racer's leather like Kushitani. Might be interested in trade for kevler jeans(36 or 38in) or other gear. I am in Marysville and can meet you near Columbus area. *Can meet you at Iron Pony this Friday(4/6) or Sat. (4/7)
  20. One way to shorten shock length is put 3/4" spacer between circlip and part seal the shock body. (sorry I do not know the name, but the oil se4al and dust seal does in) Edit: sorrt for my careless post. 3/4" is a lot and make sure shaft length. Maybe ok with streetbike, but will topped out on mx for sure. another way is shorten by custom clevis. Eitherway, you want to make sure not only fit, but works. Try this guy, he is very engineering mind and a lot of expericence with Honda shock modicication. He gave me a lot of tip when I was on Superhawk and did new to me ZRX fork and shocks. He got machined clevis for modifiation. Jamie 260-710-4049. Tell him "referred by Tak" Here is his website. http://www.daughertymotorsports.com/
  21. I agree with brn6604. I use small punch with steel hammer and tap tap...with angle towards clevis (bottom). if you need more than that force something is wrong. just be careful not damaging the shaft, scratch will cause oil leak by damaging oil seal.
  22. Awesome deal and good information about 2~5 yrs of shelf life. I did not know that long.
