  3. Thanks!!! I am a member of ZRXOA as well. Turn signal is fast one to go.... saw few but I am always too late. lol. If you still have it, I want it. pls pm me.
  4. Looking for stock ZRX 1200 turn signals. Pls let me know if you changed to aftermarket LED turn signals. Also open for aftermarket one with 12V. Thank you.
  5. :plus1: I like fresh oil shift feel. I rather use quality less expensive oil and change more often. ex) use Rotella for every 1500mi over Mobil1 for every 4500mi.
  6. Andy, Nice to see you here, I sold SH and was shopping cruiser (& sports touring) because my 7yo baby girl like to ride with me now and my wife wants to ride her bike. I checked Shadow 750, vtx1300, suzuki 1500, BMW R1200C, BMW R1150R, BMW R1150RS, FJR1300, etc. End up ZRX1200 with corbin G&L with backrest. (Mainly limited budget....this is my only bike so wanted some fun on twisties) I am planning over 300~400mile a day ride just like I did with SH, but not 2 up. I hope you find nice one for your and yoru wife.
  7. Honda of Marysville let you test ride the use bike. You need to fill in agreement to test ride and obviously you have to be very serious about buying one. I did and it was very decent experience. I am sure depends on the sales person.
  8. Mine was long time ago.....1985. it was suzuki RG50. Even 50cc stroke, but it was very exciting. it was old 2 stroke bike and it did not run well low rpm. I had trouble fining 1st gear at stop light lol. When I did ride FZ750 in 1987, it was also like another first ride. (totally different from 2 stroke bike with 50~250cc) I hope you have fun with your bike.
  9. well...this is.....you tell me... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=2fd_1332614766
  10. Very good advise. I just did on new to me zrx. it was "pre cut 110 link", but when I put it on, it was long.... I had to cut. new and onld chain side by side and count links before put on bike. About tool, I always hear good things about RK tool. I use ebay one around $40. (motion pro knock off) works for me. not bad idea to buy tool especially you got multiple bike. also if you are shopping for good brand chain for less. Try these guy, I called them and pick chain fron what they have( I needed high tensile strength. ) and they cut for you. (but it was one link too long...) including the RK rivet link. http://www.slmracing.com/ Good luck.
  11. I just want to share my experience with Shop Dog Cycle today. - Great communication, phone, text and in person. - On time service. - Take time to do it right. no short cut BS. - Great price, no suprise or hidden charge. He did not revise his quote even job took much longer. *He did not even accept "tip" to cover his additional time. Thanks Ryan and I really wish your business goes well. Also he got credit card swipe app on iphone so I did not have to go get cash to pay. It was pretty cool and convenience Saturday morning with Kids.
  12. My experience with him getting quote and setting appointment was excellent. Very customer oriented.
  13. Sounds like you might have issue more than R/R, but I hope this help you. I have '98 superhawk and R/R failiure is well known issue of the bike. I replace Honda OEM one to Yamaha R1 OEM R/R. See attached. http://vtr1000f.wickidnet.com/ I think that late model Superhawk got improved one, but I recommend to upgrade to R1 OEM R/R if your RC51 got smiliar Honda R/R without fins.
  14. We got few bike for kids. 1) CRF50 (I think 2004 or 2005) Brought brand new from dealer. Comes with training wheel. Quick release kind. http://www.e-z-ride.com/index_bb.html My son used at So Cal dry lakebed. Well taken care of. all stock (many stickers, but will come off) 2) Suzuki LT80 Got from previouos empoyer where purchased as new. 2 stroke 80cc, throttle control by screw. (good for kids don'at know what he is doing at beginning) Tires kind of used (low tread) but my kids were riding around yard no problem. Also have XR100 but maybe too big. Let me know. I can't post LT80 pic. send me e-mail and I should be able to send you the pic. Price could be negotoable.
  15. Interted in if fits well. I wear Alpinestars 44 jacket and leather pants between 34-36 depends on the brand. Can you consider trade? (possible adding cash). 1) Alpinestars SMX-R boots size 45 (US10.5) Black Excellent condition. This is for my friend who really needs money. check on craigslist add. I think price ws $140obo 2) RS Taichi Leather glove. size Large *RS Taichi is very reputable brand like "Nankai" for leather racing suits. This is used only one suspension test run (about 5 laps) at Fontana Speedway. My friend is test rider and he gets goodies. He left gloves at office and used this glove from team semi. Minimum use. He gave it to me, but I have A star and noever used my self. It does fits just like A-star size Large. 3) Yamaha OEM Leather pants size 38. I got this one on ebay about 2 years ago. Super cheap. not my size. Black. I am an idiot and can't figre out to put pic here. Let me know. Location: Marysville Thanks
