  1. Yep - John and I are heading to Nelson (my first track day ) on May 14. Maybe we'll catch ya next time.........
  2. Hello again everyone...... Our first ride of the year will be April 16th. Like last year, we will meet at Calvary Chapel of Columbus located at 6075 E. Livingston Ave at 10:00am and depart at 10:30am. Please come fueled up and ready to launch. There is a Speedway 100 yards from the start. The ride is about 170 miles round trip with lunch in Coshocton at "Lock 27". I hope many of you can make it out this year as last year we had many successful rides and this year will be no exception. Fast, slow, tour, or sport, it does not matter. We all safely "ride our own ride" and have a great time as a group. Here is the link to the map for the ride...... http://ridewithgps.com/routes/330155. The ride leaves east Columbus, to Newark, up 79, up 60, down 83 to Coshocton, over on 541, then back down 79 and home.......it will be fun. See you all then!!!
  3. ......or 50% chance of "no rain"!
  4. Unless I missed something, looks like most or every one of the vendors are all chopper types. Odd that the main page showed a guy on a race bike......... I'll be passing as well.
  5. Ebon: I will buy you a piece of pie if you actually show up and ride, and you can buy one for me if I actually finish a ride I started!!!!!
  6. It's essentially where 36, 206, and 229 come together in Newcastle.
  7. Saturday high 55, low 37, and 10% chance of rain. Peggy Sue's takes cash and cards (Visa and Mastercard only). See ya then........
  8. I'm in as well. FYI - OSU vs Iowa on the road at Iowa at 3:30ET.....
  9. OSU-Penn State at OSU is at 3:30PM..........just sayin'
  10. Wx permitting, the wife and I shall attend as well.
  11. Ahhh - cute - thanks for that!!!! Actually, I'd like to have a Miata for a fun weekend car. But for now it's braces, mortgage, college, etc, etc, etc........
  12. Kinda like a group of Miata's............oh I forgot, we saw that on the ride.
  13. Perhaps a ride down for you and a ride over for me to one such lot is in order one of these Saturdays............
  14. Of course you would. But just for you, we'll start the ride in Circleville and you must start there!!! HA! Actually, what I need now is a good clean large parking lot with "road-like" pavement to do a little more work on these dang turns!!! See ya in November..........
  15. I think you can almost bet on a November ride, but not a big ride like we've done every month since April. Temps and late sun and early dark will shorten this up. I think a ride back up to Coshocton/Amish country will be in order. Stand by.......
  16. Do you really have an 03 1000 and 650 SV? If so, I'd love to take a look at your bike tomorrow as I want one as a second bike. See ya then............
  17. Good news Ben........ I cured my GPS issues and the likelihood of making a wrong turn and mucking up the morning ride has been almost eliminated!! Haha. See y'all in the morning............
  18. First gas stop is 92 miles and 1:40 in Wellston. Come gassed up at 9:30AM for a 10AM launch. See you there...
  19. John - can you send me the GPS file (or split GPS file)?? Wedding isn't until 4:30 so I can ride most if not all of this!!! WooHoo!!!!
  20. How "totalled" is it? I've been looking for an SV650 project bike to turn into a track bike - meaning, body work and front forks would get changed anyway well as all those lights and things......... Let me know.......
  21. I spoke to John tonight. There is "the next ride" being planned now, and it will certainly be shorter. We normally run these in the 160 to 200 range. It will be on the third Saturday of October (the 16th) as it stands now, but as with all things, this is not in stone until the new thread is posted. Destination is still TBD. You can "most likely" expect that one to leave the church at 10 instead of 9 due to the expected cold of October and later sunrise. I'll will be at a wedding (of the little girl who was our flower girl 22 years ago) that day so I wont be riding. Perhaps Ben will not be stuck too far back since I'll be gone - HA!!!!! Good luck then........... Phil
  22. Hey - REAL SORRY for causing the big gap holding us back then taking 278 to break us off. That really started the day off bad. But THANKS for sticking on my tail. I really appreciate that. I heard things kinda went down hill with 3 down and one in the hospital. Any updates on that?
