While looking on Craigslist, I saw this ad for a FREE HORSE!
------
We have a retired, black, Tennessee Walker in his mid 20's with lots of life left in him. He is blind in one eye, but he still gets around our barn and fields fine. He is really playful with our other horses and ponies. He is retired because he would trip when under saddle, but does fine for pony rides for small kids. He loves attention and is a SUPER easy keeper. He ground ties for hours and thus makes a good lawn-mower! Does great with all age and size horses and ponies, he makes a good babysitter for weanlings and yearlings. Up to date on shots, worming and farrier. We have a small farm and need room for riding horses so we would like to find a nice place for him to live out his silver years.
-Must be willing to give Vet and personal/farm references,
-Must be willing to have farm visits,
-Must have run-in or stall available and be willing to blanket him in extra bad weather,
-Must have plenty of acreage for pasture grazing,
-Must sign a right of first refusal should you wish to sell/trade/give away him,
-Must have another horse or other pal for him to be a companion to.
If you have extra room at your farm and would be willing to give him a good retirement as a pasture pet please let me know. Thanks
