  1. it would be illegal for you to carry a weapon in a car without it being in a holster on your person. ORC (E) No person who has been issued a license or temporary emergency license to carry a concealed handgun under section 2923.125 or 2923.1213 of the Revised Code shall do any of the following: (1) Knowingly transport or have a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle unless one of the following applies: (a) The loaded handgun is in a holster on the person’s person. . . . . . . . . . . . . -- OR -- . . . (emphasis added) (b) The loaded handgun is in a closed case, bag, box, or other container that is in plain sight and that has a lid, a cover, or a closing mechanism with a zipper, snap, or buckle, which lid, cover, or closing mechanism must be opened for a person to gain access to the handgun. . . . . . . . . . . . . -- OR -- . . . (emphasis added) © The loaded handgun is securely encased by being stored in a closed glove compartment or vehicle console or in a case that is locked. also carrying in a pocket without a holster increases the chance of a negligent discharge as the trigger is not covered.
  2. you do still have your weapon in a holster in your pocket right?
  3. snap caps are mainly used for rim fire weapons. dry firing a center fire weapon will have no adverse effect on the firing pin or any other part of your weapon.
  4. why do you need snap caps for a centerfire?
  5. lock, cocked and ready to rock! thats how i roll. i haven't unload my carry gun except for when i go to the range with it. BUT it is never off my hip. at night it is in my night stand. 12+1 and the pistol grip 20 is always loaded

i have a 1978 Honda PW50, non running. might just need carb rebuilt. sat for 20 some odd years. have a title but might be a problem transfering the title. it's in my aunts name and she died 20 years ago.
  7. it's actually 5.56. but as most gun people know, a 5.56 will also shot a .223 but a .223 will not shoot a 5.56. Shooting a .223 through a 5.56 would be a bit less accurate also. i'm still on the fence about this. i love this rifle and after just selling my AK i'm torn here. If i do decide to sell, i would ask around $1400. Has had roughly 100 rds through it.
  8. ok, i'm lookin to sell or trade my Smith & Wesson M&P15 (AR15) chambered in 5.56. has a UTG quad rail with a free float extension, laser dot, vertical grip and about 1000 rds of .223 Wolf ammo. and 4 factory steel mags. this will be a long shot but, i'd like to trade it for a STI double stack 1911 chambered in 9mm (depending model) I'll post cash price for anyone interested. (not quite sure yet what i want out of it.)
  9. i just stopped at my buddies range to pick one of these up and low and behold, they stopped carrying 5.11 gear. i was kinda upset. but i'll find one somewhere. i know they all wear them. except when they have their vests on.

    M&P 40 question

SO TRUE. Sounds like you may be over lubricating it you need to use a bit of grease on the slide rails, locking block, barrel and a dab on the frame. i use gun butter (insert jokes here)
  11. i'll carried a full length Beretta 92 for the longest time. it's what i was comfortable with. just sold that and my AK to fund my next purchase.
  12. look at Kahr pistols also. VERY GOOD pistols! very compact and very slim
  13. my next gun purchase will be a Glock 19 or a HK P30
