Beats the hell outta me! LOL the manufacturer says the dry weight for that model is 460 lbs. With fuel and fluids, 505 pounds. And yes, I learned how to "push" the bike up, rather than try to lift it. The lifting is just not gonna happen, bro. LOL

@magley64, You are so right!! I was faced with 2 choices at that point. Either get a pocket rocket or learn a technique to pick up my own bike. No choice, since giant boyfriend is military and may not be able to come my rescue every time.

If you take 71 from Columbus to US 35, it's going to cost you about 60-70 miles to Beavercreek, depending on where in the 'bus you're coming from. The good news is, US 35 between 71 and Xenia is a nice, newly paved straightaway with a wide horizon... and very little police patrol.

OK Matt, you can keep me company toward the rear of the pack, then?? (please? LOL!) I am definitely what you would call a conservative rider. I don't even know why I have a sport bike, because I'm more a cruiser! I would hope that if there's a group, then there are going to be several types of riders in the mix, more aggressive, more laid back and a bunch in the middle? I don't know, I almost always ride solo or with one other person. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
