I have friends. Not the first Vette I've driven. My family and friend's families have them. So far I've driven a: 1968 C3 350/350 4-spd Coupe 1998 C5 Vert 1998 C5 Coupe LPE 1989 C4 Vert 1998 C5 Coupe By far the most fun to drive was the 68. No power anything except brakes. 4-spd. Side pipes. All numbers matching car with a 350ci 4-bbl fed motor and 350 HP. That car was just so pure. You didn't go fast, but you loved every second driving it. And when you got the secondaries open past 3000 rpm she just sings! The C5's are impressive though just based on mechanical grip and pure speed. They accelerate with such linear pull that you don't realize you're doing 130+ until your hair feels like it's being pulled out. (Vert only. lol) Given the choice, it'd be hard but I might just take the '68.
Guillaume Nery currently holds the record for breath hold free dive at -113 meters. That's 377 feet down on just breath! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQITWbAaDx0
I'm seriously thinking about cleaning up the Mille and seeing if someone wants to trade for a Flame Red Futura. Sooooo hawt. More comfortable too, and with the way I ride and after seeing this guy's video I highly doubt I'd miss that slight lack in performance.
It's no fun if I can't try to correct you. My point still stands. Go take a dump at the rest stop. Guaranteed that your exit speed on the on-ramp is faster post-dump than pre-dump.
It's overly harsh because he came here, asked for advice, we all told him what he needed to do, and he ignored it and keeps posting stupid things. This leads me to troll more than "someone who needs help".
You obviously haven't read the first two threads he's made. Where people told him how serious his damage was and that he needs to get it professionally repaired because it's not a shade-tree mechanic job.
