I think you have me wrong. I'll trade the goat.........for a C5Z or C6. You have nothing to offer. Seriously though, I love those little Saabs, almost picked up a 9-3 Aero 6-spd but all the ones I wanted were way too expensive or on the west coast. I think they're nice cars even if quirky.
The guy was the XDL championship winner. So you know he's got some good moves. I think the type of floor and the limited floorspace kept him from doing the cool moves. You don't get the gold medal for a few lame wheelies and stoppies. On a side note, anyone else think the show was garbage this year? The organization was hectic and BMW, KTM, and Aprilia weren't there. It was like I walked into any typical Japanese dealer, lame. It was nice to sit on the big four's bikes, but I would've liked to have seen more than just Duc from the Euro side. Anybody sit on the sideways Ducati Streetfighter and realize how hard it was to do with both feet on the pegs? lol
It's the father's car. HE needs a C5. I'm keeping the GTO, I likes it. And I've dumped way too much fucking money into it. /threadjack GL with the sale.
$125 for weekend tickets in J stand (turn 11) + $25 for all weekend motorcycle parking + I think a goodie bag. Parking is prime and right across the street from the gate which is right across from the seats. Less than 1/4 mile from parking-gate-seats. And a party thrown Friday night by the organizer with free food for all AF members.
I'll be there with the Aprilia group again, can't beat their deal. Maybe some of you hookers can call me Saturday night and we can meet up in downtown.
Don't get me wrong, after driving an APS TT GTO I know there's no such thing as too much power. I just think the C6Z is a badass track car. I would thrash that thing soooo hard. I'll take mine in black with comp grey wheels.
LSx is iron block though. I was thinking more along the lines of Hoosier R6s, full coilover, corner weighted, forged wheels, LG Longtubes, Corsa catback, short shifter, Alcon 6 pot monoblocks, the list goes on....
