    I'd vote for it too. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. If they aren't held to some sort of standard and held responsible for the actions, we get exactly what we have. People are fed up. We've let then get away with stuff for too long. A little but here, a little bit there and no one notices until it's too late.

    Verizon wants to monitor your web habits, if this bothers you -- opt out

    Priacy policies. A touchy subject for some and if you're a Verizon customer who is concerned with such things you'll want to make sure you're up-to-date on some new privacy policy changes happening.

    Verizon has updated some of their terms this week and those updates, now state that Verizon will use your info for "certain business and marketing reports" and for "making mobile ads you see more relevant." In other words, Verizon will be tracking URLs of websites you visit and also your device's location data while sharing it with outside companies. Doesn't sound all that great does it?

    Verizon does however offer you the option to opt out if you visit their privacy policy page and make some changes. The page has two different places where you can check "Don't use my information" for any or all of your Verizon cell numbers.

    Having the option to opt out is great! Having been opted in by default -- not so great. If you're not down with Verizon doing this, then make sure you opt out as soon as possible.

    What have they done that was illegal? Simply protesting and showing their signs isn't illegal. They are just using their free speech, the same free speech that so many American's (and some who weren't) have died to protect. If they do something illegal, then yes they need to be held accountable for their actions. I wholeheartedly think they are lower than scum and what they say is absolutely disgraceful. But how can you say "We should slash their tires, burn them at the stake, etc, etc" when it is okay for someone else to say "Bush/Obama is a freaking idiot and ruined the country"? Both are using the same freedoms to voice their opinions. Use your freedom of speech to defend what Westboro speaks out against. Go counter protest where they are protesting. Cool. But to lower your standards and perform illegal acts makes you worse then them. People talk about making it illegal to protest military funerals. You don't think that is a violation of their rights? That's just being hypocritical and shows you don't truly understand what is going on. This is why I like the Patriot Guard Riders. They don't agree with what they do but they let them do it. They just make sure they stand guard between the protesters and the families and guarantee that they will keep them safe. That's an awesome feeling; a true showing of love, understanding, restraint and honor.

  19. Taxes paying for illegals to go to college??

    its just flat out wrong to think illegal immigrants do not contribute to taxes.

    if you file a W2 with a fake name/ss number, uncle sam is still taking money out of your paycheck.

    unlike you or i, they arent getting refunds, and they arent eligible for medicare/social security when they retire. so they are paying into a system they will never get anything out of.

    the government has estimated that 75% (thats three quarters) of illegal immigrants are paid on formal payrolls.

    quite a few pay income tax as well. if they own a house, they pay property tax too.

    not to mention sales tax that you pay on stuff you buy, regardless of your citizenship status. gas tax when you fill up your tank etc etc etc.

    IF they are receiving a paycheck (W2) and not just cash under the table.
