  1. Time to buy the minivan now. Lol
  2. You're trying to compare yourself at something that cannot be compared. I could be a first year rider and be comfortable (read stupid) enough to take a 90 degree turn at 150mph. Or I could be riding for 7 years and be comfortable enough to take that turn at 100mph. We can't tell you that at 2 years you should have the ability and confidence to ride a certain way.
  3. If you can do 1.85$ and kick it sideways while flapping your arms like a chicken, then are you the best you can be.
  4. This is good advice. I knew some people, snipers, mortars, infantry, etc....that were getting out. They were really worried about finding jobs because the civilian side just doesn't have a huge need for those types of jobs, unless you go to work for companies like KBR, Blackwater etc.
  5. Keep in mind they really don't need any more recruits. With the economy, many people went to the military, mainly the army. So the recruiters aren't being pushed to get numbers. The other thing is most of them didn't volunteer for that duty. Being a recruiter sucks. I don't know your situation, but unless you have that position in writing, it is not waiting for you by any means.
  6. Who the heck brings back threads from 2 years ago??
  7. Which is why you DO NOT use FMJ in a firearm for defensive purposes. You uses a hollow point. Unless you carry a .22 then I'd go with a FMJ.
  8. So sorry to hear. RIP Rider.
  9. 1) My fan kicks on when the needle almost gets to the red. Happens at very slow speeds and sitting at lights. I installed a switch to manually turn the fan on and off. It will still kick on when it gets very hot, but now I can flip it on when I am getting into stop and go traffic and it keeps the temp down. 2)You can get lube from Iron Pony. It will come with a little needle on the bottle. Stick the needle into the cable and let the lube run down. 3) Most bikes clunk when going into second. Just make sure you hit it hard and all the way, don't half shift it or you'll either hit neutral or it will pop out of second back into neutral.
  10. Yeah, there is one about wiring the garage door opener into your light switch. I made a bracket for my phone, which is my GPS too. I'm in the middle of trying to figure out where to mount my power outlet as the GPS kills the batter in it.
  11. I remember these! I still have a metal slinky too, good heavy one.
  12. There are a few more on that site I didn't post.
  13. This is why kids sniff markers to get high now.
  14. His write up on the Airhawk Seat Cushion: http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=62822
  15. It used to be that people were willing to give free stuff but no one wanted something for free. Now you can't get anything for free but everyone wants something for free...
