  1. I'll probably take the sport riders course next year. I have too much going on this summer.
  2. lol, that's what happens when my kid is bugging me. I just set up her lady bug tent in the living room and she's having a ball with it.
  3. Did you end up buying it sam?
  4. It probably didn't have it's own thread, was probably in the funny picture thread or something. Eh, I've had my fair share of reposts.
  5. I know it's been on here before but trying to find a picture can be difficult. I'll have to see if I can find it.
  6. Congrats on your daughter doing so well! That sucks she broke her foot. I deployed with a guy that the same thing happened to. He's got pins and plates in his foot/ankle now. Don't think they let him jump again after that. I hope she can get through it. Hopefully she can get though it and fight them if they won't let her.
  7. Like I said, I have had my wife follow me and said I am more visible with the modulator. I've noticed other bikes better. Like IP said, they are distracting and that's what you want when you are stopped. You are right that you need to be diligent so that allows you more concentration on checking your mirrors instead of remembering to pump your brakes. But to each their own.
  8. Shiny things. Didn't you read the OP?
  9. I always thought sheep were the closest thing to (most) people.
  10. Everything is more expensive in Vegas. I wish I knew how much money I have spent there. Being stationed 2 hours from there made it too easy. We had our military ball in Vegas. My wife (then gf) and I had quite a lot of fun.
  11. What if you're stopped on a hill? What if you forget? Mine was like $15 IIRC. I used to pump my brakes too but this is so much easier to have.
  12. lol, zombies are a big hit anymore.
  13. Lube it with grease. Clean it with a brillo pad or sand paper. Rust tends to build up and will make it hard to get the old out and could rip the o-ring on the new one. You want to try to avoid letting the crap fall inside the motor so don't shoot brake cleaner into it. You could use a rag with brake cleaner to wipe it out though. It could be wiring and that would take schematics and a troubleshooting guide. Could be a bad connector or corrosion in it. I don't know what the failure rate it on those. Most of the ones I've changed are on Chryslers.
  14. pry and twist, pry and twist. go slow. Clean the hole out and lube the new sensor before you put it in.
  15. Bet your wife will be happy now.
  16. This is so sad to see. Sweet looking bike, wish I could afford it.
  17. That is the way Ford tell you how to do the oil pan, by pulling the engine. Oil Pan Gasket>See engine removal So no they weren't BS'ing you. The transmission is just easier to remove and then jack up the engine off the motor mounts.
