    Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war.     watch it again. when they come running out, the cop cars are parked on the street behind them, just sitting there. one is in the middle of teh street, the other is in front of that truck across the way.

    then once they get in the car, the cops roll up.

  3. This whole thread goes back to one thing, and that is yes, you should have to show ID to get onto a plane. The whole issue was that a man refused to show the TSA his ID. The security check point is the ONLY place that you show your ID when you get on a plane. You can print your boarding passes online, no ID required. You go to security and show your ID and boarding pass to show that the same person on the boarding pass is the person trying to get on the plane. You then proceed to your terminal where you board the plane by showing only your boarding pass and no ID.

    So, your photo ID is the only way they have of proving you are who you say you are (and yes, I get that they can be faked). I guess if you don't like that, we can always implant a chip in each and every child at birth. That way, there will be no question who is getting on.

    Was the guy attempting to go through the checkpoint without showing identification? No, he was only standing near the checkpoint. Why should he have had to show ID?

    Edit: I don't recall him trying to get through but I'm not going back to look at the video right now.

  4. I was in the Army with a guy that got a tattoo from the head of his dick to his belly button. Had to drive back to base with his pants and underwear around his knees. The gate guard was thoroughly confused to say the least.

    Wish I could remember why he did that. :nono:

  5. Guy and a girl got married. The guy got her name, Wendy, tattooed on his penis. When it's soft it reads "WY". When it's hard it reads "Wendy". They went to Jamaica for their honeymoon. Decided to go to a dude beach. There they are at the nude beach and the guy decides to go to the bar to get a couple of drinks. When he gets to the bar he sees that the bartender is naked as well. The guy happens to glance down at the bartender's package and sees "WY" tattooed on his penis also. He says to the bartender: "Whoa! Your wife's name is Wendy too?!" Bartender replies: "No mon. Mine says 'Welcome to Jamaica, have a nice day.'"

    One thing I didn't catch earlier was they didn't state what a "pass" would be. Would it be the legal limit for someone 21+ years old or would it be any alcohol in their systems? If they are under 21 that can't be drinking anyways.

    So if they have a 0 tolerance then just kicking out the ones that look drunk wouldn't cut it. Plus some could be drunk and hide it well.

  7. I saw that driving down the street toward one of my substitute teaching jobs. Looks like it will be a cool store when it opens. It's quite interesting to see how Sears is returning to smaller (and perhaps friendlier) stores to attract business. It's such an image change; I grew up going to the sterile-looking cornerstone mall stores.

    It's open now but their "Grand Opening" is March 1st. I have yet to stop in though. I agree that's it's nice to see them turning stores over to local people. I think that helps attract customers because they are dealing with neighbors.
