Now keep in mind that even if you get a CHL in Ohio, you still cannot carry the baton. It is issued as a License to Carry a Conealed HANDGUN. I think some states do issue a License to Carry a Conealed WEAPON and allow other items besides a handgun.

Have you tried shifting it while you ride? those have a neutral safety lock. They won't shift to second unless going over a certain speed.

Show me where you cannot carry in a liquor store.

Negative. A loaded magazine or speedloader even when seperated from the firearm is considered a loaded weapon. One can be in the glove box, the other in the trunk. Without a CHL, it is illegal.

The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of five soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. They died Aug. 30 in the Arghandab River Valley, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device. All were based at Fort Carson, Colo. Killed were: Capt. Dale A Goetz, 43, of White, S.D. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Staff Sgt. Jesse Infante, 30, of Cypress, Texas. He was assigned to the 4th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Staff Sgt. Kevin J. Kessler, 32, of Canton, Ohio. He was assigned to the 4th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Staff Sgt. Matthew J. West, 36, of Conover, Wis.
