I'm sure it would have fired it just fine, and held up. The thing is, it probably would have blown up after a while, after having some confidence in the gun. Then again, I'm new to guns, and don't know that for a fact.

$550 might be a bit of a stretch to have a garage. I'll find some links for you, and post them. Bump this thread if I don't get to it in the next day or so. You may want to look at houses for rent as well. If you find something, let me know where it is, and I can most likely give you an idea of what the neighborhood is like.

Yeah, that too. But I didn't mention that since the other PC's are functioning fine, and the modem doesn't usually do any routing. If it's DSL, it's probably a router, but then he probably has his own wireless router after it, anyway. Or not.

Have you tried power cycling your router? Some consumer grade routers hiccup once in a while, and need a reboot. Could be something there, although it would most likely break ALL Internet traffic to the computer.

Oh yeah, I remember this story. What a bad situation. How would they control it? If vehicles didn't have to be licensed to be driven on the street, and have the plates displayed, do you think people would jump through the hoops to abide? I don't see how this can be done with firearms. Exactly. Criminals aren't worried about breaking the law to get a gun to commit... get this... a crime!

Ready to move to somewhere warmer? I've never been against guns, and until a while back I wasn't particularly for them. Over the past several years, I have become more educated on the issues, and now it's time for me to arm myself. It doesn't help hearing all the break-ins in the area, most of which are shops, but you never know what might happen.
