28.8 modem on a IIe? Wow! My first Pentium PC only had a 14.4! WTF is a modem? I see something in device manager on my laptop, referring to a modem, but I have no idea what to do with it! I couldn't get DSL when it came out, due to being too far away from the CO, so I had ISDN for my high speed internet. Was faster then dialup, any way you look at it!

Wow, I was the Zip drive freak back in the day. I had internal IDE, internal SCSI, external parallel port, external SCSI, I just neve made the jump to USB. By that time, I was over the Zip disk thing.
