  1. The MotionPro adapters are what I have. I broke one of the 5mm though. When I was ordering some parts anyway, I got a few more of the OE 5mm adapters to match the one that goes to the tank.
  2. Last year's news. The interesting thing is that he's a moderator...
  3. I actually thought about talking to the owner of the shop about that, I guess I need to quit the laziness and do it.
  4. I wouldn't say that they're bad cars. They're actually some pretty dependable cars. As for suck to work on... I've gotten to the point that pretty much any car sucks to work on. Even the old stuff sucks, because I've practically forgotten how, since I don't see many of them anymore! High school in c.1996? Damn kids....
  5. If you're already scheduled for the class, try to walk-in at one of the earlier classes. It seems that most of the classes have someone not show up, and you have a pretty good chance of getting in.
  6. Those thins are...Interesting... A not so nice mix of Ford and Mazda. Axle shafts are about $325 + tax installed. Worst case on the power steering is about $650, if the steering rack is bad, that includes alignment.
  7. From what I've seen about them, I'd recommend Cycle Search.
  8. Go with an independant shop. If you want to drive out to Johnstown, Chevysoldier and I work for one. What kind of car? I can get you a rough estimate, and may know of somethin common with the power steering.
  9. You didn't see him in the TV show A Former Life? Add this to your sig: Thanks a lot grammar and spelling nazi!
  10. (non-existant smiley) Geesh, what an idiot I am! For some reason I thought this was takin place Saturday! Out for the parade, I have to run A/V at church until 12:30. Maybe I can talk the wife into heading out for the moose grilling!
  11. Too late... He already tried to suck it right off the computer screen!
  12. Don't do it. You can thank me later. Or from one of the tall buildings nearby, or a 'copter!
  13. That thing looks be... Nevermind...
  14. It's safe... And funny... Sort of...
  15. Welcome to the site! I don't have the slightest idea! I barely remember doing it in the BRC! You might want to see if you can get into a class through the state. It's only $25, and successful completion is the same as passing the test.
  16. Those things are cool! We some some connectors at the shop that top those. They're pretty much the same, other than instead of crimping, you insert the wires and heat it, letting a ring of solder melt into the wires. They're similar (same?) heat-shrink material on the outside as the crimp type. The spray-on electrical tape is surprisingly good. I usually stay away from stuff like that, but we tried some out and it really works well. Maybe better than electrical tape! There are a few resources out there for the Hon-duh V-4 bikes. I check out vfrworld.com quite often (interceptor specific) and there's vfrdiscussion that might have some info that would be beneficial as well.
  17. Interesting. I guess it all depends on what you get. I put them as about equal. I like Salvi's better than either. I know you've already decided and all, but were you even remotely considering going downtown to Spaghetti Warehouse TOMORROW NIGHT? You must've forgotten what's going on down there... As for the movie, might I suggest a change of plans and go see some fireworks? About the movie, I like jizzbot's description of it from FB:
  18. That had to have been 1000rrrrrrrider, and I think he has a 1000 RR.
  19. Salvi's Bistro. Right over in your area even.
  20. They won't fit on the bike... I might come out with them anyway, I just wanted to ride the bike.
  21. So, no more "I want peni" threads for a while?
