Yea, highway pegs are hard on Wings. They always drag. Only thing I have seen that is for sure safe are Mic O Pegs. Out of business but maybe you can find some used. I took my pegs off. Not putting them back on.

We do probably 45 days a season on the road. Two long trips of a week or so and then many little trips of 3 or 4 days. We love it. We see so many of the little things in America that you normally just don't see. Very few problems, occasionally we have to hide from or get caught in bad rain but we get over it.
