I'm officially in. As Pokey has already said I've led a few rides before as well as ran sweep. He and I ride at pretty much the same pace and I have the route/track already loaded so if Gunner wants to move to another group from the start... I've never ridden an OR ride before so I didn't want to volunteer and violate the first timer rule. I tend to ride at a "5 to 10 MPH over" pace and that lets me ride at a more relaxed rhythm while piloting around my SuperTanker.

There's a Marathon 1 block off the route in Malta: 1250 Front St. NW Malta, Oh 43758 740-962-3725 It looks to be a very easy reroute with no backtracking. There also looks to be a BP (also in Malta) about 2 blocks south of where the route turns north from 7th St to 669 / Main St. 531 Main St, Malta, OH (740) 962-4431. It looks like it's either going to be Glouster or Malta since Burr Oak appears to be the halfway point. At least from my vantage point... But since I'm carrying more fuel than Pokey it's not really an issue for me either.

That's okay, not everyone is cut out to do it. That's nothing to be ashamed of and you can rest assured that even though you appear to be ungrateful the people who can do that job will still come and help you when you need it. I just love the psychic abilities of some of you arm chairs cops. Anybody can make that call AFTER the incident but have you got the stones to go solo BEFORE you know the situation? My guess is no. Walk a mile... Not to mention they probably have regs dictating how this should be handled. Have good day. One last thing why don't you guys let us know where you work and maybe we can get some kid with nothing better to do to follow you around with a camera while fucking with you. Then we'll take a minute or two out of it, post it up and then all of us can critique you. Sounds like fun!

I had (have) a 103. It's a modular so it will be heavier and noisier but the convenience of the flip up is nice. What I found out was that Nolan tends to run more round than oval and it would cause a pressure point above my forehead. It wasn't too bad on shorter rides but after a few hours it would tend to become a distraction. I've since moved to a Qwest and like it much better. I have my Sena SMH-10 installed on it (as I also did on the Nolan) and like that combination.

At one point during the call to '000' his response to how it started: He was behind me, I put on my brakes and he had to lock up. Did this guy overreact? Definitely! But what did Mr Victim do that prompted any kind of reaction? My guess is he will never say...

I learned that back when I was road racing my BWM 2002 in SCCA. Hard to believe but just a little shift could make the thing a dream or nightmare to tow.

A couple of other questions: - Do you have an idea on total weight when it's loaded with both bikes? - Where did you source the hitch for your car (factory, aftermarket, home built)? - You mentioned the fenders, what would you have done differently? - And lastly, did you (or is it planned) to treat the underside of the plywood deck as well?

You just need to stop by the Firehouse one day when I'm on duty and it's yours. Hell I'll even throw in a cup of coffee. The only issues: the A & B speaker selection apparently doesn't work (I was only using the A side up until 2 weeks ago) and it will drop one channel occasionally but it got better after I used some electronics cleaner on it. Probably just needs another good cleaning which may also fix the A/B thing as well. I'm currently waiting to pop for a new power supply for my Linn Sondek LP12. The Valhalla board finally gave up the ghost and I just need to decide if I want to replace with original, move over to an aftermarket replacement or upgrade to one of the DC motor conversions.

Sena SMH-10. You can get an earbud version as well as the in helmet speaker set-up. I know, considerably more $$ but the system flat works! I use mine exclusively for music since my ancient Palm Centro won't sync. The nice thing is you control volume, pause/play and fast forward/rewind all while your iPod/iPhone sits in a pocket or tank bag. It also is a bike to bike comm system. PLUS you can get 2fer packages which last I checked were going for $299. Seriously, give it a look.

Sounds like some of you need to spend some time answering 911 calls. Obviously you have the rare gift of deciphering what's real and what's not. You alone could save the City / County millions! Unfortunately we don't have the luxury of just ignoring a call like this. It has to be treated as real until its found to be not, and the only way to find out its not is to open it. Do you have the stones to open an unknown container? Not if you want to see the family at the end of the day WITH all your digits intact. So you open it remotely and like it has been stated they don't "Blow it up". That's just the media making it sound more exciting. To those of you making light of this would you have the same reaction if the location wasn't the woods but outside your kid's school? They all get treated the same because we don't get the luxury of assumption. Rant off and ride safe.

If you have crown molding you have another option. You can run one bunch of wires up and behind then hide them behind the crown. Then all you'll have a is a short run in the wall back down to the speakers. This will let you have bigger holes for pulling the bundle and then it will be hidden once the crown is re-installed.

Would also be interested but just to base line the Strom. I have recently tweaked the ECM via Teka and would like to see if I'm in the right ball park now.
