    Couldn’t decide if this was a firearms or political thread but politics won, so here goes...

    The Czech interior ministry now wants to loosen its own laws a step further, proposing a constitutional amendment on Monday that would allow its citizens to bear legally-held firearms against the perpetrators of terrorist attacks, such as those in Nice or Berlin, the Czech news agency ctk reported. 

    The government says that putting weapons into the hands of citizens is the best defense against terror.

    Admittedly in the USA we don’t have terror attacks as bad as other places. Interesting to see what they are coming up with as solutions to the problem.

    The local TV news wasn't real strong on references. I knew it had been out there before but never had anybody said it had actually passed. 

    The important part:

    Sec. 4511.132. (A) The driver of a vehicle, streetcar, or trackless trolley who approaches an intersection where traffic is controlled by traffic control signals shall do all of the following, if the signal facing the driver either exhibits no colored lights or colored lighted arrows or , exhibits a combination of such lights or arrows that fails to clearly indicate the assignment of right-of-way, or the signals are otherwise malfunctioning, including the failure of a vehicle detector to detect the vehicle:

    Just heard on the local TV news that come the 1st of the year if a light doesn't change for your bike it's ok to treat it like a stop sign.

    After some undetermined wait time to be decided by an officer, that is.

    Anybody else heard details on this law?

    The 'split' Republican party has been overwhelmed by the popular vote as have the Democrats. It's quite a win for the conservative politicians. The Legislative branch - The Senate and Congress. The Executive branch - President. The only one left is the Judicial branch and with Supreme court nominies in the future that also looks to be a real posibility.

    It is a given that the media will soon rally and go back to their playbook of running down the Republicians/Conservitives. Trump won't be able to sneeze without the media going into a frenzy over it. Ah, the good old days.

    Meanwhile.... Everybody is waiting to see how Trump lives up to his campaign promises.

    This is going to get very interesting.

    Hillary impeached, hmmm. That would be a first, both husband and wife impeached. Remember Bill was impeached for lying to congress. Hillary did the same thing but no charges yet. However it seems she will get a pass on everything unless Trump wins and appoints a special prosecutor or some such thing. Of course the news gets weirder every day so who knows....
