How bad are the carbs? Everything clogged? I could help you. Just cleaned the Carb on my 77 Yamaha that sat for 25 years (needless to say it was badly clogged everywhere).

I would also trade for a vintage Honda cb100 or cb125. In pretty much any condition as long as all the pieces/parts are there.

Clean the carbs yourself its easy. bring extra jets and go to Dyno Brian. (Dynotune Motorsports)

Its a factory finish the battery box is plastic (I think they dyed it somehow). Its not vinyl or paint.

Honda scooter. 2000+ miles (changes daily) I got this on a trade and when I received the scooter it had 800the miles. Recent oil change new fuel filter and fuel pump Cleaned the Carb and replaced the jets I ride this everyday to work and average 95mpg I have two of these scooters (bought one for the gf) now she wants a motorcycle so I need to sell one. These are hard to find, people keep them as they last forever. $1200 FIRM The bike does gave the floorboard. Its off in these pictures but I've recently put it back on to make hauling stuff easier. Ill get better pictures if needed

Is there anything wrong with the bike mechanically? The add says it has comsmetic damage, what does that include?

Stock sm model? The carbs are a big hold back on the street models. I had an e model converted which was higher compression, flat slide Carb, full exhaust and modded air box. Stock bikes make 31-33hp. My dyno'd 41 several times over the years. Granted it still sloe compared to superbikes but huge difference compared to a stock drz. Anyway Ryan I'm gonna need a 21x3 Enduro tire real soon.

What do you need done?

Do it yourself. Advance your knowledge about the workings of your bike. It can help if you label everything and even take detailed pictures upon disassembly that way later down the road if you don't remember how it goes back you have a frame of reference. I saw a tip of putting corn starch in paint to get it a flat look also.

Anyone knowledgeable in this. Got a project bike. Dt400. Motor turns over pretty easy, gas tank seems OK but it's been sitting for 20+ years. I'm cleaning the Carb this week and going to start cleaning/restoring the bike. I was told this bike had points and I am uninformed on this subject. Any help is appreciated.
