  1. Yeah, you can. Technically you don't have to hook up the turn signals that are integrated in the light...but if you're keeping the stock signals, I wouldn't blow money just to get a strobing brake light. I just manually tap the brakes a couple times to get peoples attention behind me if needed. ;)

I want to get rid of those darn signals and was going to buy an integrated light, or at least different signals, but I can't afford either. I guess I'll stick with my custom $18 fender eliminator for now. :D

If you want some suggestions, gimme a txt/call...Lord knows I spent a lot of time researching and looking into different options. Missed ya last weekend...homo. :p

OK, will do. Send me a text so I can re-save your number, mine is the same I just switched phones.

  2. It seems to be a good light, probably one of the better ones that I have come across that goes into the stock mount for the 07+ 600RR. It is completely plug and play, including the signal hook-ups, which none of the others that I have come across are (if you don't want to hassle with it).

I know tobefast.com had a coupon code for OR not so long ago and I think it came out to around $130 shipped. Unfortunately my unemployed arse can't afford much of anything, so it didn't matter to me anyway. :D

Good call on the coupon, still a little steep for my cheap ass. I am wondering if (with a litte work) you can run the turn signals through this AND keep some mounted. I don't mind the look of the rear signals, I just really like the strobing brake light.

  3. For sale I have an early 80's (not exactly sure right off) GS1000 for sale. I originally bought it because the soon to be wife is an aspiring air brush artist and we were going to use it as a starter project. Well as most things do other things took priority and now we are staring down a little more than a month before the wedding and funds are running low.

It's not a terrible bike, someone tried to do a kentucky paint job on it, so a some paint work would make it really sharp. Has a stage 3 jet kit in it as well as the performance air cleaners (came with the jet kit), and a Vance and Hines header. Has new brakes as of last season, and new tires the year before that. I just put a new battery in it this year as I figured no one would even look at it if the battery is junk. Has 31,XXX miles with a full maintenance history.

At this point I am just looking to get whatever I can out of it, I traded a gun and a boat for it when I got it. I have it for sale on a local car lot for $1500 - which of course is over priced but I will take anything reasonable to help out with the wedding. Might even be able to work out a trade for a decent smaller bike and include the Glock 22 I have in another posting (of course this would be a "wedding present" to the soon to be wife - or at least thats how I would spin it to her.) She really wants a litte sporty bike to ride around with me on, here is the other posting http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=62696

  5. Not real sure where the duty holster is right now so maybe it wouldn't be part of the deal, lol. The tac light belongs to the city so it does not go with the gun. Its hard to get a good picture of the laser but it flashes so just youtube lasermax to get a better idea.
