Hell its got a cig lighter port should be easy to sell then. I would put it back to stock height get better tires and ride the shit out of it.

wanting a faster bike to keep up on rides is the wrong reason to get a faster bike. that new found speed will bite you in the ass if you are not ready for it.

60 sounds good to me. But isnt it funny after a long winter and spring starts to roll around the first 45 to 50 degree day we are itching to ride and in the fall 60 sounds too damn cold. Anyway I plan on riding weather will decide how long and how far.
