  1. Kenny Rd Carryout, a little north of Henderson is where I used to go. Now, I go to the Grandview Carryout. A friend of mine opened that business, has a good selection, and can get a lot more if requested too. He thinks Yeungling is shit, so he knows beer! Corner of Grandview and 3rd.
  2. That bike can corner too, you know. It's not all about speed down the straights that make the track days fun. Melting the tyre's edge is more fun than the center strip...
  3. Mine was better. Little Ceasar's and Ghost Whisperer. Girlfriend had a cold and wanted to stay in. Asleep before 10:00, and no hangover.
  4. Always in for a good day at the track. It would certainly do well to familiarize new people with track riding too. And get more people familiar with OR and the Junkies too, if marketed right- which could be beneficial to the sites' sponsors. Lot's of potential if done right.
  5. Sometimes the hardest thing to realize is just how lucky we are. Perspective.
  6. Looks like MJ was the only other person with the balls to get out on a bike...
  7. Nah, but given the chance, he'll always mess with his balls.
  8. That's no problem. I'll have it with me. Think that calls for a round of beers though. Just sayin... Lol!
  9. If you like beer, it's time for a trip to Belgium. Hundreds of small brewries making centuries old recipes, all served fresh in a town square unchanged for hundreds of years. In Brugge I staggered all the pubs with Holbrook (Yota knows this Irish lush... Lol!) for the finest beer field trip. My bar-tab was $220. There were 4 of us, each with a similar tab. Good times!
  10. I'm sure it's not as fun as having a squirrel down the knickers though...
  11. By definition of that bill, I'm an outlaw street racer. Although I rarely go more than 10mph over the speed limit.
  12. Pollute at will. There is no consequence. Consume and step in line. Fox News. Paraphrased to keep it simple.

    Nikon d5000?

Short lesson- there are only three variables to taking a picture really. Each one of them influences the light coming through an opening to get the correct exposure. ISO- Think of this sort of like film speed. The lower the number is, the less sensitive the sensor is. The less sensitive it is, there is less chance of noise (or graininess, for you film types...), but a longer time for the shutter to be open is required. Shutter speed- This is how fast the shutter opens and closes, exposing the sensor to light. The speed is mostly expressed as a ratio to one second, like 1/15, 1/60, and all the way to 1/4000 or so on some cameras. The closer the number is to 1 second, the slower the shutter speed. As a rule of thumb, 1/60 of a second can be hand held without sign of shake. Add the VR, or IS, or whatever the lens calls it, and assume 1/15 of a second. A moving subject will NOT be caught at these slow speeds though. At a track, freeze a bike with 1/500 of a second, and pan with the bike at 1/30 would be a good starting point. You can set these using the (S) Priority mode. Set the shutter speed, and the camera sets the corresponding aperture. Aperture- Each lens has a variable aperture, or size of the opening through which light passes. The size of the opening is expressed by the f-stop, which is a ratio of the size of the opening to the distance down the lens barrel. The closer the number is to 1, the bigger the opening- and more light pours in. The depth of field is affected by the f-stop too. The closer the number is to 1, the less depth of field there is (think plane of focus in front of and behind where the camera is focused). The greater the number, the bigger the plane of focus. Three variables. That's it. Play with the S Priority mode, and the A Priority mode. Let the camera set the ISO. That's the best way to judge what your change of settings are doing, and everything is recorded in the metainformation- which you can get by running the cursor over the thumbnail and getting the properties. Learn by doing. On a side note, a woman came in today asking for help recovering some pictures. Used a Sandisk program called Rescue Pro. Some were deleted for a reason, I'm sure.... That was a HUGE dildo....
  15. I'm in. If I behave I might be able to get my girlfriend too. Unless that's a bad idea. Really bad idea....
  16. It's cool as hell that both the McRib and the Cheesy Gordita Crunch are back?
  17. Three years ago, a forum that I went to put up a weight loss challenge. I won it, and it was excellent motivation- I lost 20 lbs. in 30 days. Maybe we can put something like that together after the Holidays?
  18. Just because you want to see a penis doesn't mean there is a penis. For whatever that's worth...
  19. With the old slr's, there is a local guy named Ben Arnold who does that out of his Clintonville home. There is also Camtronics in Gahana. The Canon XS, Sony A230, and the Nikon D3000 would be your price point options. Again, www.dpreview.com is the best unbiased source for information. Happy to discuss anyting with you too. Catch me on the Aprilia if we do one of those lunch out things again...
  20. I skipped the whole Black Friday shopping garbage. Then in the evening everybody else bought me alcohol intil I stumbled out of BW3. It was one hell of a surprise party my girlfriend put on for my birthday.

Yes, the other D5000 sold to the couple right after you. And STT, there is a PM response. Happy to help out where I can. Cheers!
