Why are we researching these things? We have enough oil, coal, and natural gas reserves to last 100 years, and burning these fuels indiscriminately has no adverse effects.
Check out EX-FS10 too. It's zoom isn't as powerful, but the it is all internal, meaning there is less chance of breaking the camera by bumping the extended lens assembly. It is both cheaper, and should, in theory, be more durable.
