I was thinking the same thing, but I guess when you are weightless you don't need much padding.

My stove is pulled out because I just had to replace that entire wall. Water damage and ants. Putting up the last coat of paint tonight. So please disregard my filthy, disorganized kitchen while its under construction. Go STEELERS!

I'm still in. Don't matter when, I'll try and make it. Did I miss somewhere that it got switched from December to January? I don't know if I can last that long without the gheyz.

Not so sure I'd want a gun printed out by one, but those 3D printers are pretty sweet. I've seen a few prototypes that have come off of one we have at work.

Yup I plan to record it. All I have at the moment is my smart phone, but I'm trying to borrow a little better camera from a coworker. Also why I'm having it at a public place that anyone can stop out to. There will likely be a few forum members there like scottb, possibly Marty (Photos by Marty) and jbot if he makes it in time. As well as several coworkers that all bought tickets. FWIW, I assure you that not only is the drawing going to be done as legit as possible, but that ALL of the funds raised from this are going straight to my brother to help cover his medical bills and future rehab.

Everything here applies to the street as well. The main difference is the pace for the street should be much slower than the track. At a slower pace, most of these things aren't as big of a deal. Doesn't mean they don't apply though, and street riding can be a great place to practice technique/body position without worrying about going fast.

Exactly. Break everything down into different segments, and it won't seem so scary to go into the corner faster. Get your body position set up, then brake/downshift, smoothly make the last body position changes, then corner. It's a lot easier that way then trying to do it all at once.

Just suck it in fatties! Really it does get in the way, so this off season I'll be hitting the gym harder than madcats morning wood. You guys won't even recognise me. You will think the real terminator Arnold himself has shown up.

Bump to the top to announce that the drawing date has been set. Friday, December 7th at the Paninis in Euclid, OH around 7 pm. I'd love to see a few OR members make it out as "witnesses" for everyone else. No promises yet, but to help get you to come and for your viewing pleasure, I'm working on getting a young, female..."assistant" to draw the winning ticket! I will be selling tickets up to that day, and likely will have some left to sell the day of.
