I haven't gone on a decent street ride all year. Sunday works better for me, but could possibly squeeze in Sat.

Most of us will probably be doing x-mas with the family on the 25th, Christmas is usually held on that day. Not sure what your religious views are. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. -

Count me in for whenever. I don't usually work weekends, that shits for the birds. -
Scott if you win I'll buy the gold fairings and jazz it up for ya, and keep the black ones, lol.

I have nothing to add other than my neighbor has a Smart Car. Every time I see it driving down the road or parked in the driveway, all I want to do is tip it over. I think I could do it myself.

Ya I have a fireplace but no insert. I just turned the furnace on for a couple hours before we went to bed and set it at 75 so it only kicked on once. Then I turned the generator off for the night and it was still 67 when I woke up. Jinu, if the power is still off tonight after work I might take you up on that. It's not that bad though, still have heat, hot water, and plenty of candles for light. It's kind of nice with no phone/wifi Sam is forced to talk to me instead of watching youtube videos.

Assuming your house has a fairly large blower on the furnace. At least 5000W if you want to power all that. I'm still without power since Monday evening. Surprised they haven't came to fix it since the line that is down is also blocking the road, and the road is closed. I'm using Craigs generator that is 3500W running/4000 peak and it is barely enough to run the fridge, furnace, and sump pump. It struggles a bit when the furnace blower first kicks on. Special thanks to Blue03636 for leaving his generator in my trailer for us to use at the track. It's currently keeping my food cold and my house warm! I'll make sure I do an oil change on it after running it for a few days plus track time. Hoping you have power and aren't needing it right now.

Haha John, I've never met your wife but if she's at all "easy on the eyes" then you know what the guys are saying, lol. You should have seen the one PT out in Utah. She was a solid 34-D and loved to wear low cut shirts while bending over to stretch my brothers legs. We had a good laugh over it. His gf didn't see the humor in it though? -

Ya I've got it up on a couple Triumph forums and some race forums. I tried a few other places but didn't have much luck anywhere that I wasn't an "active" member. -
But they've been scamming, I mean sponsoring, people for 7 years? And they have a facebook so you know its legit!

Thanks guys! And to anyone that didn't already see, I updated the OP with some info regarding the drawing. I haven't sold all 200 tickets yet so I"m pushing the drawing back a bit (probably a few weeks) vs. refunding everyone. If there's anyone that doesn't want to wait I will certainly offer a refund as promised. I'll keep the ticket sale count updated every once in awhile to let everyone know how its going! -
Tell him to give it a try and report back to us with the results. Sounds more like a "pay $140 to get slightly better deals when you buy parts from us" vs. any sort of actual sponsorship.

He is making slow but steady progress. Still not much feeling and no movement from the knees down. His thighs and hamstrings are feeling like normal, but still very weak. His left leg is definitely stronger than the right and his left hip flexor is working a little better. Here's a promising pic that my mom sent me today though: He's mostly holding himself up with his arms, and he has some kind of orthotics on that support his ankles. But he walked about 80 feet with the walker, and was moving his legs under his own power! -
Damn, I hit a small bird with the top of my helmet once and it was quite an impact. Blood and feathers everywhere. Couldn't imagine hitting a turkey/turkey vulture.

Let's do it. I don't know you personally and assume you don't know me entirely. So I'll fill you in a little on my skillz. I'm a novice racer, this year was my first full season of racing. Did a few Mini 20's last year but that was it. I've gotten a lot faster this year compared to last. I ran pretty consistent mid-high 1:13's at Nelson the last couple races there. I've gotten into a couple situations where I'm behind a rider in a race that is running just a tiny bit slower than me and I can't get around him. It's usually a situation where they are consistently taking a very inside, defensive line, so my only option would be to pass on the outside. I tried to make the pass there a couple times but wound up just getting pushed wide and had to let them have the spot vs. getting ran off track. I then tried to set up a little better by staying back 3-4 bike lengths and letting my faster corner and exit speed catch them. This sort of worked, but I wound up catching back up and making up the 3-4 bike lengths I left between us but not enough to make the pass. School me on any kind of techniques there might be on making a pass on someone that is slower, but only by a couple tenths/lap.
