  1. I'd love to come but I probably can't make it. Got some work stuff during the week and the 29th is my bday. Got plans for that already. I need to learn about my suspension. My bike has been pretty much like a Ronco rotisserie, set it and forget it. That needs to change. It's the one aspect of my bike that I don't know everything about it.
  2. Haha ya, if you wanna run the xr take it out at lunch when we do scooter "races"
  3. Oh don't tease me, I don't know if I can wait that long!
  4. ^ You stay out of this! Must know secret racing info now. (that was directed at R1insertrandomwordhere.)
  5. If the "chateau de canvas" is a rockin, come on in!
  6. Yup. I think there's 6-8 of us that should move up. I'm even at the back of that 6-8 pack, and I would still be ok if I got bumped. Then there needs to be some kind of rule more set in stone...if you win x amount of novice races, run 1:1x laptimes or something like that, you get bumped. Allow the person enough races/laps that they have a shot at winning their Novice season championship, but still bump them.
  7. I believe he said it was Optimal. Same stuff I have. Fitment was good, decent quality, minimal prep work needed before paint. Not quite up to Sharkskinz level, but also a big price difference. Way better than the eBay crap.
  8. Can't be held responsible for what happens to your wife while you're black-out-drunk. There will be a quick release form we'll need you to sign. Also, would she be getting black-out-drunk as well, or will we need to bring the chloroform? And Jbot and I will be sharing the queen bed, it's what we are accustomed to. You and your wife can have the room with 2 twins. We'll be stacking those and making bunk beds of course. There will be so much more room for games and activities.
  9. If your warmer has a low setting then yes you can. You don't want to run Q2's on a hot setting. I'm not here to debate running street tires on warmers, but if it gives you the confidence in your head that the tires are warm and you aren't worred about traction then it's worth it. I'm sure Mike Bolyard laughs at all of us running our warmers when he beats us on his "cold" tires with no warmers.
  10. Now you're talking. Let me know when you want to go shopping.
  11. FTFY. Guess how many "drops" of oil I wipe off the side of my engine when I change the oil on the 675. Go ahead...guess. You Kawi guys are too easy.
  12. One Saturday date that looks like a semi-full day. (June 22nd, 3:30-9) I'd like to try and make that one if it doesn't conflict with the race schedule.
  13. Sounds like a plan to me jbot. I'm kinda busy at work today and will be heading to Alabama for work tomorrow and Wed. And basically I'm lazy. So if you figure out the details, I'll be happy to call and put it on my card.
  14. Dood, all you need is this paper funnel thingy-jig, 2 packs of shop towels, a specially designed 08 zx6r filter wrench (only available from dealer for $39.99), a magnifying glass, and a case-case n a half of beer. Not sure what you're bitching about?
  15. It was amazingly convenient for easy access between rounds. Not so convenient however, if I ever took a spill like jbot and Superman'd down the track on my stomach.
  16. Yup, that's what I wear. Dang good price. I payed $700 something for mine, too bad they don't have any left in my size. Good suit, decent airflow. Only problem I ever had with mine was the stitching started coming apart at the bottom of the zipper seam, right in the crotchal region. That was a cheap repair though, and no problems since.
  17. I'll be racing the full season, or as much of it as I possibly can, again for 2013. Hollywood about summed it up. R1Dreamer dreams about holding up any of us racers, but the reality is we'll all just give him a nice slap on the ol' ass when we fly by.
  18. 675's Daytona for the track, Street Triple for...the street. That's gonna be my garage come springtime. Love these engines, I really think the 3 cylinder is the best combo of torque and high end. Pretty much fits the bill of this 750 for the street you're wanting.
  19. Have you tried Pawn Stars? Those guys can get you the value of anything.
  20. And might as well grab those teknic gloves for some street riding too. I have no gloves for cold or wet weather.
