I'm now the proud owner of a gay chinese scooter. Did the same as you are intending to and bought it for my g/f who was going to ride it. She doesn't. I do. And I love it. Its branded as a "Lance Venice" 150cc but most, if not all of the chinese scooters are made by the same company and badged differently with maybe some slightly different accessories on them. The 125/150cc engines are almost all "GY6" series engines that are knock-offs of the classic honda engines. Change the oil in em, clean the filter, and loctite the shit out of any nuts/bolts that come loose, and you can ride the piss out of them. Only issue I've had with mine is a leaky exhaust gasket. I just tell people it has a "performance" exhaust on it.

I don't know if its a super secret or what so I won't mention any names, but some asian kid borrowed my trailer to pick up a bike the other day.

Mods...please move this thread to the for sale section, lol. I think I have a spare engine off a pressure washer with a bad pump. I'll have to get it all fixed up for April, I want it and the pressure washer gone. Need the room in the garage.

I've been a little busy between travelling for work, remodeling my basement, fixing/modding an atv I bought, and other stuff. I just haven't had time. I think you should buy it off me...

Nice, good to see there's some atv riders on the site too. I just bought an 06 ltz400 that I've been fixing and modding over the winter. Don't want to jack your thread...but I'm gonna do it anyways, lol. Here she is, almost complete. waiting on a few carb parts before I put the plastics back on.

The hog had an unfortunate accident that resulted in its poor little engine case cracking and leaking all the oil out. I think it got shut off before any harm was done from running with no oil. But it needs a little tlc with some jb weld before its back in action at a track near you.

I suppose I could put it in the bed of the truck. Or the back seat.

I'm late to the party but at least I made it. Hoping to make all the race weekends, and maybe an extra Putnam trip. My IRS sponsorship is in, and I'm going to sign up in advance for a bunch of days. I can't do too many in advance, I travel unexpectedly and might miss 1 or 2. Gas prices are supposed to suck this summer, so anyone in the Cleveland area wanting to trailer pool especially for the longer drives let me know! I can possibly fit 1-2 more bikes. I might have to leave scooter at home though.

I recently won a raffle for that exact welder (minus the dual voltage input, 230 only) and I love it. It's one of the better "hobby" level welders for the home user. I'm not a super experienced welded either, so I use the chart on the back of the door and it gets me pretty close. I have heard the spool guns for aluminum work, but they are definitely not an industrial strength piece. Would never survive an every day work environment. If you're just using it at home and you take care of it, should be fine.

Planning to be out tomorrow for the races...praying for nice weather. Well, nice might be stretching it but maybe no rain.
