  1. It's always more fun...I mean easier, to do it by yourself when you use both hands.
  2. You're just afraid cause you have tiny-tiny penis. Even Jbot feels like king kong when you're around.
  3. Ya I enjoy looking at it after a session is over. I borrowed one once at Nelsons and as a new rider it was fun to see my lap times drop from the 1:40's from my first track day to finally breaking into the 1:19's. Also its nice to be able to tell if something I've been working on is making me faster or if it just feels that way. And last, you know we all like doing a little "dick swinging" amongst friends.
  4. Oh, and nice bike as well. Looks like a good find for a track bike.
  5. Doe this mean we don't have to hear you bitch about how your 1000 is too big and not as light and nimble as a 600 now????
  6. Alright I officially paid and am signed up for race school. I'd like to do a race Sunday assuming I pass. I'll be waiting to check what the weather is going to be before I actually sign up for a race though.
  7. Looks good. Kinda new to the forums...did you paint it?
  8. Street duties: 07 daytona 675 Track duties: another 07 daytona Pit duties: nuff said
  9. No, the instructional group doesn't have to. Here's a list from there site of bike prep in case you're wondering what else you might or might not have to do. REMOVE THE ANTI-FREEZE, water or water with Red-Line Water Wetter are the only fluids allowed in your cooling system (Only the Instructional Group is Exempt) Remove or tape your mirrors and turn signals Tape your headlight lens if it is made of glass Tape your brake lights Tape your speedometer (Instructional Group Only) New-er "track day" or High Performance Street compound tires are recommended with no pronounced flat spots or irregular wear. Anything that can be an entanglement or impalement hazard should be removed (non folding rear passenger pegs, stunt cages/bars, spike bar ends) (Possible recommendations, but are not required include: Race bodywork and if possible remove or secure your kickstand and license plate and/or bracket and rear passenger pegs and/or brackets, and safety wire your oil drain plug and cap and filter, radiator cap and drain plug) (Blue masking or Painters tape is recommended; Duct tape is commonly used, but is sometimes difficult to remove)
  10. Thanks, got one on the way.
  11. What kind of lap timer is it that most of you use that will work with the beacon at Nelson/Beaverun? I'm looking to pick one up for the upcoming season so if anyone can suggest a good place to buy as well that would be cool.
  12. I should be in. Plan on doing Friday night to knock the dust off the bike, race school sat and possibly my first race sunday.
  13. I voted grattan just b/c I don't know if I'll be able to make a Mon/Tues event for Mid-O.
  14. Nelsons has been a great track for me. Doesn't have a whole lot of technical corners, but it really taught me a lot about taking fast corners. The first time I drug knee going 140+ was a pretty scary awesome feeling. And since it was the first track I went to, I didn't even realize it was a dump.
  15. I'll tell ya what, if the weather looks good I'll make a special trip out to the west side and pick you up. I'll have room on my trailer.
  16. Again, depending on weather I may be there. It's an hour away for me so it will be a game day decision. If I do show, it will be Saturday only. Probably sign up for advanced for the first time. Intermediate pace is becoming too slow, and I rode a few sessions in advanced last time and I think my pace was ok, low 1:19's. A few people flew by, but I actually passed a few as well.
  17. Grattan sounds good. I think I'd rather go there than Gingerman. Further south = hopefully warmer.
  18. Anyone plan to attend any of the fall STT events? I'd like to do Autobahn the 25 &26, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get Friday off to make the trip down there. Also good prices on Gingerman Oct 2-3, and Grattan the 16-17. Since all these tracks are a little further than the Beave and Nelsons where I normally ride, it would be nice to see who's going and share a trailer/gas. I have an open trailer that'll fit 2 other bikes, and an F150 crew cab with plenty o' room for riders!
  19. Ya, some of us may have taken getting off the bike to a whole new level. How you feeling Jinu? I don't have anything in particular that hurts, just the whole body feels sore, like I ran a marathon or something.
  20. There's always Sunday for home projects...I'm putting mine off till then!
  21. What no vrtex360 helmets??? That would be the best, put virtual reality goggles on em and then they would be confused and think they were on a skyscraper and wouldn't want to fall off the edges. ^That makes no sense to anyone but those of us that work here at Lincoln Automation.^ Desk stuff and a box to my left, I'm screwed.
  22. Not doing race skewl now, but I'll still be there tomorrow running in the open class. See you all there.
