  1. hey mandie, this is my third attempt at the same message.. i keep getting booted. oh well. here goes. i wanted to get back to you on the party. i would really like to go but will have to play it by ear bc i have to work till 9pm in easton this saturday night. additionally i have to be at work by 9am sunday morning. that kind of blows if you want to have a few drinks and enjoy yourself. we'll see. how far is venue from easton?

  2. i heard them saying the h1n1 was intended to go into the regular flu shots but didnt make it in time and thats why its being distributed separately. im jacking my kids up on lots of citrus, bananas, apples... all of us everyday. hope it will pay off in lieu of the shot. i just can't do it. actually, ive never had flu shots ever, nor my kids. im not anti shot in general -- ive just never done it before.

i feel your pain... coworkers are so much fun! i sit next to a minister in training who is literally at least 8 to 10 years my younger. he's not married. has a girlfriend who knows can't afford her tiffany. also three young daughters whom the oldest he shed tears over her getting on the pill and a belly piercing....... and he's telling me to watch my mouth if i mumble "shit" to myself under my breath while i work quietly? can we open a vent on co-workers thread and make it stick? all i need is my "father" sitting next to me trying to shovel religion. lets play name the "its" of all monotheistic faith.

  15. as i came to find out, my old employer, the latimes and both jp morgan are clients users of this online verification company. i get there are many companies within each corporation and its all grey and convoluded. but that being said, they still would not move forward utilizing the service... why? bc chase hr hunters also use yet another 3rd party service for all the security/ verification needs. what you said, expressed explicity my conversation with the the head hunter yesterday. they handled it thank god and clearance is final.
  16. Am finding out the hard way that corporate America's HR is no longer interested in simple employment verification tasks.... No instead it forces companys to pay fees now to get employment history verification on new prospective employees thru 3rd party services set up on the internet. Keep your W2's and references contact information current is my only advice. i won't ever forget this experience.
  17. don't forget washing hands and sneezing into elbows.... esp those with kiddos at home. im buying lysol today!!!
  18. this is tough to voice opinions on bc nobody wants to nay say the vets, myself a daughter of a WWII vet and sister to a brother in the Navy. I feel those were choices they made on based on their personal goals, and which ultimately benefitted or effected their life path. not every's experience is good in the military and that is unfortunate, unchosen and can destroy the spirit i suppose. it equally unfortunate that a healthcare disaster completely bringing a family to bankruptcy. i say this understanding ones ills have nothing to do with patriotism, which i am a devout toward as much as the constitution. i guess im saying, no one forces soldiers to sign under duress, and certainly no body acts without their interest in mind, knowing what terms they are going into service with, etc.. i strongly support an effort where it did not involve borrowing money, but rather initiated a change in govt allocated funds, such as pork payments that benefit rediculous lobby efforts, and re-distribute those funds to the vets. sure, then i think that is a fantastic idea.
  19. sorry i didnt pick up on the dayton thing.. im still learning demographics !! nope, not into the vampire thing but you can start that new thread on it anytime. my hubs hates most of the narrator voices on these audio books but none the less, i do it when im driving or cleaning house!!! close enough! good guess thou. with three kids christina, id have no hair left with out the third row. the price of this truck was the cost saving insanity.
