  1. +1 on arguing religion. institutions of many, collected, interpreted, organized and always compiled by mans need to promote man, mostly at the expense of keeping women down...there's always an agenda, and no good has come forth where the bad hasn't equally following, creating a zero sum.

let the buckeye insanity begin... im not even from here, but i'll be watching. it really sucks you in!!
  3. willing to put them on their ass = better be willing to take it their too cause it could land you in jail. why not settle it on the field or keep in verbal and live on to play another day.
  4. i agree with you mildly in general about talking shit. the guy may have had it coming. but realistically -- when you're an athlete at that level, are playing for UofO in the pac 10, a running back position for a team many athletes can only dream of being recruited into -- i personally feel there are behavioral limits and demeanor for which the team, the school and all the rest expect from their players. how stupid does one have to be to risk their future over some snot remark from a player on another team. the opposing team isnt even a rival. he's obviously willing/proven that he make's poor choices, and eugene should think twice about letting him play on in conference games.
  5. thats funny shit. best laugh ive had all week. thanks for sharing.
  6. welcome to the board mel. im sort of new.. since may. nice bike!
  7. yeah! like year round.. palomar, ortega, i could go on and on.. but, no not happening anytime soon for us...
  8. maybe the mgmt company has another property and they can be a little flexible towards a change in location given all of your problems? sublet? also, i dont know what your age is, but sometimes young people get taken advantage of bc they don't think they have options....like, when you moved in, did you ask them if it was a safe area? you could make this argument. i dunno, im just saying. is the theft on the street or complex property?
  9. wow. may i ask, what brout you to ohio? i dont know the neighborhood you are living in but our realtors pushed hard for dublin or marysville since the job was @ honda, and we half a pack of our own. even b4 i stepped foot in central ohio, i had already done all my research about the schools, poverty, crime, neighborhoods, places of commercial growth, where the goodies were/and werent, and places to go/areas to avoid. for example, i love to hit the mexican grocery over off morse road but im not fond of the area. i go there to get the good carne asada. cbus has been relatively good compared to a relocation to texas we did once before. it was horrible and left back to san diego months before my husband. maybe its just not for you. my son ached to return home the first 12 months and then suddenly it stopped. i know find ohio to legit home and my two youngers' have grown up relatively here. i returned home this summer for about a month in sandiego/oc. for the first time ever, i didnt have that yearning for home like in other times, although there will always be the beach and mountains that i miss dearly. we live in corona and the 91 fwy/parking lot sucks ass and that was once thing im glad not to deal with any longer. that and the price of gas! so, where is home if you go back? when you calm, maybe think about options in moving to a different neighborhood on the outlying areas of cbus. i have never had a problem here at all.
  10. i always research the company and industry.. pretty par for the course but not everyone does it. it wont close the deal, but it shows you are interested enough to make the effort.
  11. hope you nail it. i had one in columbus today as well but declined this morning after consideration. double city taxes, commute plus daycare.. i can't leave the house without a certain min. salary and it just wasnt there! i sure hope you have some good news to bring to us. i'd really love a new job myself.
