I'm a people watcher by nature. one thing i can't quite crack to the code to is age. some people really put their age to shame, and im talking young people. and of course men do typically keep it together longer. im saying this as someone who is almost 40. i couldnt agree more with you guys.

Beegreenstring is right -- you have nothing to loose and worst case scenario, you get to come on ORDN and entertain us with the crazies. Some one also said there is alot of women with baggage/kids on these sites. I think the expectation out there is if she is 30 plus, there is a strong likelyhood for kiddos or vice versa. The good thing is you can weed out your options in advance (im assuming there is a box that you can check "with kids" or without, etc..)

thats so funny! but i bet it's totally true. my single friends neve went the distance with eharmony, have tried some of the others out of curiousity. they can't get past the awkwardness of a first meeting. they went straight for the speed dating. so glad im not "there" at my age, that is for sure. listening to their stories is like torture

good for you... its all a happy medium though. i go to a boxing class 3x a week and have dropped 15lbs in 9 months.. but really i am just back to where i was before I started a new job 15 months ago, where i am hooked to my cube 10 hours a day. I love this class but miss yoga. there was ALOT OF MEN in the yoga class.

what type of venue is ohayocon? a "good morning" convention? ..

im climbing the walls and pulling out my rosary praying for a break from the cold weather. just this morning they said a big storm for groundhog day. Have a few plans coming up in terms of keeping the eye on the prize: a huge concert in cbus to attend in March and vegas weekend end of april I CAN EFFING WAIT

the whole idea of Nazis started in my head while reading through this thread ... and then I came to your post. so glad im not the only one who see's it... i think its because at the end of the day, its simply not American. although in my private dark dreams I don't disagree with the premise!

ive had problems with drying for sure in the past but i believe it had more to do with the helmet venting like another post above.

I already told my boys (now 10 and 7) - dont even think about marriage till > 29 years of age !!! Its a fact i embed in their brains whenever possible. Guys need their entire 20's to become men. I have a daughter too but i'll support any marriage efforts on her behalf as long as she's finished college and her fiance is at least 29!

some one said not so good on the twisties. is that the nature of the bike? im bike shopping for spring but leaning hard on sport. this is all learning in progress.

I actually have a question about the event. what time does the group go on @ flanagans. i have mentioned this to some friends.

No disclaimer, probably not a fact, but definetly my experience: the one time I took a position that was union -- it was before i graduated college. i was surrounded by fat lazy people who just showed up for their paycheck and checked out @ 5pm. they lacked an ambitious mentality and they knew more about their union rules and ways to get arond HR than their own job responsiblilies.... im just sayin..... i'll probably get flamed but hey -- the title of this thread is "i hate the union mentality." So shoot me for chiming in.
