So RTVpilot how did the jacket save you from a shattered forearm does your jacket have titanium sleeves on it that won't bend in an accident? Maybe if you hadnt had these unflexible sleeves you might have not gotten in the wreck. Most leather jacket I have seen only have flexible armor at best in the arms that really don't protect from anything but road rash. Granted road rash is uncomfortable but it is usually mostly healed in 2 or 3 weeks. Howe ever sweating you ass off all summer sounds like alot more time than 2 or 3 weeks. I won't hold it against anybody who wears gear but also they shouldn't hold it against me for not wearing it.

Yeah, most rides we go on are that way. The fast migrate to the front and the slow move to the back then at intersections we wait. The problem is that the fast guys didn't kow where to go so we where stuck behind the slow guys. Besides the last decent ride i went on was a fast only group and it was alot of fun riding with people that could ride aggressively. I would much rather wait for somebody that isn't comfortable riding fast than have to scrape them up, but its nice not having to wait at all.

I kinda liked having a little more horsepower than you so you didnt completely loose me. Give you a little more top speed and I wont be able to keep you in sight. I have been hearing good and bad about the gap. I had a friend go down to the gap 2 weeks ago and he said it was horrible with cops and harleys.

All are such epic fails its really hard to arrange them from bad to worst.

I'm watching a horrible movie called "Direct Contact" there is a bike scene with a couple Hummers chasing a 2006-2007 ZX-10R and the 10 can't outrun them. Then while he is running they cut to a camera angle from near the footpeg and you can see on the stator cover it says Yamaha. Then tanks get involved in the chase pretty horrible movie but atleast that scene was funny.
