  1. I do the same... EVERYONES' rates are going up, end of story. No reasons, no "justification", no shit. Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong.
  2. Holy crap, did you modify the fog lights on the Miata to be forced induction intakes?!?
  3. Yah, but remember I can't offer any advice outside of just another consumer/biker
  4. She's on the road a lot but I managed to snap some pictures while she was in the lobby... I love looking at this bike. I can snap some more pictures if anyone wants to see something specifically. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures, I can bring my camera to work if people are really interested....
  5. Woah, I just noticed OP is female... I didn't even catch that the first time I read that. Not that it makes a huge difference, but props on it, I haven't seen a lot of custom female builders.
  6. Just double checked, $95 if I reduce and reject
  7. Note, you don't have to answer any of my questions btw. Are you with an agent? It sounds like it since you mention them calling you back. I'm very interested in hearing about the program Remember BIPD limit in Ohio is 12.5/25/7.5 and uninsured motorist is not required... reducing all policy limits to minimum and keeping Comp/Coll is super cheap with almost all carriers... I know my policy won't go lower than $95 if I set those limits (particularly UM) Here's my policy summary, coverage, limit, price As you can see, UM is 33% of my premium (note I reject UMPD because Coll covers you there). Even though I have health insurance I keep medpay because it should help to pay for things like life flight and other various crap... 2004 Kawas BODILY INJURY & PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY $27.00 BI $100,000 EACH PERSON - $300,000 EACH ACCIDENT PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY - $50,000 EACH ACCIDENT MEDICAL PAYMENTS $2,500 EACH PERSON $19.00 COMPREHENSIVE $500 DEDUCTIBLE $11.00 COLLISION $500 DEDUCTIBLE $57.00 ACCESSORY COVERAGE $3,000 INCL ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE $10.00 UNINSURED MOTORIST PROPERTY DAMAGE - REJECTED Premium by Vehicle $124.00 Policy Level Coverage Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Bi $55.00 $50,000 Each Person - $100,000 Each Accident Total Policy Premium $179.00 My own opinion and policy, I am not an agent or a lawyer.
  8. Killer deal, if I didn't already have my CCW I would have highly considered driving down for this!
  9. I personally don't like the G27, feels too small, but there's nothing wrong with it if it suits your needs!

    Rosetta Stone

I had tried using Hebrew I, but I don't have enough attention span to really commit. $500 is way too expensive for it though
  11. Wow sharp!!! I absolutely love the exhaust concept! Nice to have another NEOer around here, hopwfully we get to ride next year.
  12. Pictures, tint job is superb, I'd recommend North Shore Tint to anyone. The Pacifica tint is the same as the Tiguan on the back windows, the angle etc etc makes it look darker/makes the Tiguan look lighter Before After
  13. Here's another thread that Gump had opened, some opinions in there http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=35522&highlight=muzzle
  14. Right now I'm betting it's the way installment credit shows up on THEIR books. With installment credit it's GUARANTEED debt, revolving credit is under utilized. They know on a $16,000 credit card you likely won't use all that On a $5,000 loan they IMMEDIATELY lose $5,000 a then make it up later If I was a bank, I'd prefer to tell you "Hey, go ahead and buy some stuff, you can spend up to $5,000 but I'll charge you 20%... but if you don't spend anything you don't owe me anything" than to say "Here's $5,000, spend it however you want and start paying me back immediately at 7%"... In the first scenario I don't need to have ANY money right now, in the second one I need to have $5,000 right now.... with the way banks are, they don't have any money to spare right now.
  15. hah! I was waxing the car when it started to drizzle... I had to pull it into the garage lol
  16. Revolving credit is your credit cards Installment credit is a fixed payment every month (student loans, mortgage, auto loans) Not sure on why Chase would give you a 16k limit and then decline a loan, other than if you have a payment history that puts you at a higher risk. If I may suggest, check out your free credit report, you can do 1 at a time, and just make sure ANY case they ask you if you want to join any monitoring program say no. This link is the FEDERALLY required FREE credit check, NO credit card number, no fee, no "you must cancel"... go here, fill out the info and decline any offers and boom, you're done. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp Take a look at what's on your report, feel free to PM me if you need a hand deciphering any information, I'm not a financial planner or otherwise certified to help, I just have looked at my credit report a lot and have dealt with it a ton.
  17. Yup yup No credit = no equity on paper. Your credit score/ credit worthiness is Debt/Assets , for obvious reasons, you want an Debt to Asset ratio to be as small as possible, but 0 is no good, and neither is having a very small (or very big) debt availability. So 2 examples. Person A: 0 credit cards, no house Person A has 0 assets according to the bank, and 0 debt... 0/0 is undefined, but for sake of argument we'll say it's a 0 D-A ratio. Pays on time every month, lives very comfortable and pays cash for everything Person B: 5 credit cards ($50,000 debt of $100,000 credit limit), house ($240,000 mortgage, home value is $250,000). Pays on time every month, but lives paycheck to paycheck Person A is high risk, noone knows there payment history. Person B is low risk, they have an established payment history, and are only using 50% of their total credit availability. Just examples, but you get the point
  18. lol I went for a quick ride today, had to get some "Back to Black" to fix up the plastics on the Pacifica... was a perfect day! This is precisely why I didn't want to do a crazy winterization, was nice to just jump on the bike and go.
  19. Man, TD beat me to the license plate shit... that's the first thing I noticed!
  20. There's a difference between Comp only, and storage policies. To maintain Ohio registration you must comply with the FR laws Financial Responsibility Requirements To comply with the FR requirements, Individuals must maintain one (1) of the following: A motorist liability insurance policy. Insurance cards are issued by an insurer to the policy holder for each motor vehicle insured under a motor vehicle liability insurance policy; Typically to get a Comp only policy you have to state the vehicle use is "Long Term Storage" this isn't 4 months of the year, if you keep swapping between Comp only and a full policy you're LIKELY eligible to be dropped from some insurance carriers since it's gaming the system. I'm not familiar with Geico's Comp only policies, and I couldn't find anything about it on the website. Gump, could you send me a copy of your dec page or the policy contract? I'd love to see what they have, I have my MC insurance with Progressive but Geico was about the same rate. As always, my opinion is my own, does not represent the company I work for. I'm not a lawyer or an insurance agent.
  21. Well, you don't HAVE to talk to accident investigators if I recall correctly. Since it's possible he committed a crime (dui, driving left of center, etc etc doesn't matter) anyone of us can plead the 5th and decline to speak to police. If it was you or me, yes, we're more likely to be arrested for "hindering an investigation" or some crap, but the charges would get dropped since it's not breaking the law. But whatever, doesn't impact me My opinion is my own, and not a legal opinion, I'm not a lawyer or an insurance agent.
