holy copy and paste batman!

In terms of usability I'd prefer the nacbar stays. I'd like to see the buddy list tied into threads, a la "recent posts from your buddies"... Weather is cool, I'd actually prefer the hour-by-hour goes in place of the 3 random images and move it to the weather with 1 random image. But a better question might be "what's the goal of the homepage?" I've only outlined how I'd prefer it from a usability/web experience standpoint.

Well not to stoke any fires, but look at Bush vs Gore or as you said McCain vs Obama... it shouldn't be a game of "well if so and so wins so and so state". It has to be "let's see who got more votes" period.

+1 to Todd Most people stop listening to me after I say it but oh well.... I don't vote for president. The electoral college is flawed and will constantly under represent the people. Why should 1% of voters in CA have more say than 100% of voters in RI? Just because CA has more residents? Sorry I have a major problem with that. Discount, discredit, or disregard me if you choose to, but nothing any of you say will change my feelings on this.

More often than not the job is going to the college grad... sorry but every posting I see says college degree or experience... and I know from experience college is > work experience unless you're doing the EXACT job they are hiring for. Gen Why is definitely different than Gen X than Gen Y etc etc.... I'm 26, I'm the "tell me I'm doing a good job" generation... I'm working on it, but it's hard to change.
