I suppose if I were female and pregnant I would definitly get the H1N1 shot since it sems to really effect those with weakend or supressed imune systems. As I see it being pregnant puts you into a much higher risk catagory to getting H1N1 and if you do get it the consequences would be that much worse for you and the unborn child. Alot of risk there vs someone age 20 to 50 who might simply miss a few days of work and at worst have to fight pnumonia.

I look at it as a level of exposure. I live alone, no kids, and am out in the country so my exposure is very low. It will be interesting if a high number of people getting the H1N1 or "hiney" shot get sick since a large number will be public servents and first responders. What do we do then?

GF talked with the family and they are dealing with the loss. They are still unsure why charges have not been filled, but appear to be patient for now. The irony lies in the possibility of his fellow riders holding a wake for him. I expressed concern at this since it will most likely include HD riders with out gear, drinking in his honor and hopping on their bikes to ride home drunk. Why, oh, why does it never end?

The greatest irony was seeing the comercial for the first time after a news story about people still being confused about Obamas Nobel peace prize. As they say, "the timing of a great joke is everything".

Well, I'm out. Little sister has decided for her Birthday to have everyone join here for a hike Sunday at a state park around 1:00 with dinner afterwards. With luck at least it might be nice enough I can ride my motorcycle to the park.

She was all torn up about this and as a new rider couldn't believe that there were no charges being pressed yet. As she put it, "the girl went home and he's dead":(

Look at it this way. Without a job you'll need to watch your money a bit closer and not having a GF spending it or to spend it on will make that easier.
